Can we have a message that says “are you sure you want a BFA dungeon” as I keep wanting to timewalk on my alts but accidentally queue for a BFA dungeon by mistake.
Anyway else make this stupid error.

It happens to everyone. The mistake being made here is you’re not reading before you click stuff. Just take your time, read what’s in front of you, confirm, then Q up.
I’m not the only one that makes this error though, we need a warning so we stop ending up in the wrong dungeon
Look, the LFG system already makes the game beyond simple. We don’t need to make things easier. If you made the mistake of not carefully choosing which option to click, you should handle the consequences. Modern WOW is idiot-proof enough.
You’re making this a bigger deal than it is.
What’s next? An add-on that clicks the Q button for the player?
We dont need a warning, people just have to pay attention to what theyre clicking…
I dont want to have to hit a ‘yes’ everytime i click ‘join group’ just becauae you dont want to pay attention to what your doing
The group finder already has two check, once when you hit ‘join group’ (look at what your clicking) and again when your queue pops. If your failing to notice both of these i dont think an ‘are you sure’ message box is going to help.
People not taking responsibility for their misshaps is why i need to press ‘yes’ or type ‘delete’ whenever i try to get rid of crap i dont want.
Addition: if your not looking at what your joining your most likely going to blindy hit ‘yes’ to an “are you sure you want to queue” message anyway.
i’ve had that happen to me playing my healer but with the pvp queue being the next tab over from the dungeon finder. Then I feel terrible about leaving the dungeon group so I end up finishing it.
This is a pretty funny troll ngl.
This is exactly it. Modern WOW already requires 0 brainpower. The least players can do is read and pay attention to what they’re clicking. That’s the LEAST players can do. And if you can’t even take the time and read what you’re clicking, then you should have to handle the consequences. The game can’t get any easier than it is now (I’ll shut up, because it probably could).
There are actually 2 visual indications of what you are queuing for. 3 if you include when the queue actually sends you the invite. The first, when you queue you have to chose which dungeon type and role you want, with a drop down box to pick which types are open to you. The second is the eye, which gives you time information about approximate wait times, and how long you were queued for, this shows you also how many instances you queued for, especially if you queued for more then one. Then finally the invite itself will tell you which role and dungeon you are entering. I appreciate you want even more information, but at some point it becomes redundant information that if you are in a hurry to enter, you probably would miss anyway, so having more pop ups and warnings probably would be not necessary.
Once, queued for an arena skirmish instead of a random epic battleground, but realized as soon as I clicked accept it was not where I meant to go.
^exactly this.
If your already blindly and mindlessly clicking through the two-step system, adding a third step isn’t going to help.
May need 3 or 4 confirmation boxes. Just one might not be enough.
This is why Blizz gets away with saying things like “pvp vendors were too confusing.”
Yes, this is how I feel. Blizzard, for many years now, has been compromising the game for the sake of bad, lazy, indifferent or unintelligent players. It’s been destroying the game ever since WOTLK. They label it as “accessibility”.
Blizzard shouldn’t have to dumb down the game, the players should adapt and learn. Some say “get good” and they’re not wrong.
This is like saying i didn’t stop at a 4 way because i accidentally did not read the stop sign… have a guy out there handing notes to everyone in the area to read the stop sign.
I want an addon that scans my thoughts, prioritizes my in game desires and executes them. If it could cut grass to that would be awesome.
LOL I swear to God, this is the mind set of some of these players nowadays.
They literally want the game to play themselves. Putting in effort is just asking too much.
No. Do we really need to have warnings for everything in this game in case people make a mistake ?
It has never happened to me.
The amount of people rushing in here to put down OP and feel so high and mighty about their own intelligence all the while falling for such an obvious troll is truly hilarious yet soberingly saddening.
LOL and you acting so high and mighty, watching in the background laughing while making snark remarks isn’t any better. Yeah, we messed up by feeding the troll, but the OP makes a great point in that this is literally the mindset of some WOW players nowadays and it absolutely hurts the game.
Well I actually wasn’t joking/trolling, I thought some kind of warning would help, it literally is too easy to just queue for dungeon and not realize you queing for the wrong dungeon type when timewalking is on.
I do admit, that sometimes you do get a bit braindead when playing this game, its like you get home late from a day out, you want to chill on a dungeon so not really concentrating that much about what you doing, i mean in dungeon I would have been fine and focused enough
