Give void elves/dwarves the ability to customize their racials

Honestly, this is brilliant. Instead of a new class, change the racials menu along these lines. Brilliant, Zerde. I love it.

A petite correction, I would call the talent Stormhammer, because it is what the Wildhammer dwarves call their weapons in Warcraft 1-2. I wouldnt touch the other two racials of the dwarves because Frost resist and Strength of the Mountains seems compatible with the Wilderhammers(they do live in mountanous regions and I expect it can get cold there).

Thats like saying someone with an artificial heart is a different race than human.

I mean races as in that they are two different playable races. Which they are…

Anything else is semantics…also kind of weird and uncomfortable like I was talking about before.

The lead narrative developer already confirmed that golden eyed blood elves are indeed cleansed, but until something is officially confirmed about the blue eye customization we can’t really say whether or not this is related to that.

it’s also worth noting that the exact shade, and vibrancy of a High elf’s eyes isn’t portrayed very consistently within the game or story. With some High elves possessing many different glowing shades of blue, and teal, (Male High elf in-game models) while the other high elves have dimmer, and darker blue eyes. (Female high elf model)

Alleria’s eyes are another good example of this, not only do they emit a strong glow unlike her sister Vereesa’s, they are a completely different shade of blue as well. This was the case even before she began meddling with the void mind you. Even the High elves in Warcraft reforged are given these brighter, teal shades of blue in both their in-game models, and official artworks.

Thank you for the confirmation on golden eyed blood elves. it would be nice if they would confirm it in-story. Even just a line of dialogue would be nice.

Also, I have a green-eyed Blood Elf and would like to know if that indicates she is still tainted with Fel or what, so it would be nice if that that was also confirmed or debunked in-story.

I will keep that in mind.

Green eyes (not fel green) were a normal eye color prior to the high elves becoming the Sin’dorei (fun fact, Alleria’s eyes were actually green according to the books) so they need a non glowy, non fel green eye color as well. I describe my hunter as having natural green eyes because she’s a Ranger type, so having this added as a normal eye color would be nice.

Not slowly at all. It happened suddenly, 16 January 2007.

I think you’re confusing eye color with eye glow.

I would like the Lost Ones to be an allied race. That would be so cool!

Actually no, lore wise the non fel green glowy eye was normal. Just as blue, voilet, brown and other eye colors were. Fel green eyes are not a normal color, they are a result of fel radiation, but non fel green is normal, and was said to be Alleria’s natural eye color in the books, not blue.

Give a inch, take a mil…nah just take everything.

Some people will never be happy.

pretty sure OP is just asking for an option to change the visual effects of racials; not to have new ones. like glyphs…

wouldn’t you like a glyph for your racials?

warstomp, blood fury, arcane torrent, berserking?

They should do this for every race then. Many of my Blood Elves will be High Elves… (wait, they already are! So are Void Elves!)
Anyway, one of my Blue eyed Blood Elves will be RP as High Elves returning from Dal, and I’d like this registered in their name tag.

The same with my Trolls.

Characters in Azeroth don’t think in terms of customization options or gameplay choices.

Alleria is a child of Quel’Thalas and a solider of the Alliance. She returned after 1000 years to find most of her surviving kin switched political affiliation. Didn’t change who she is.-Steve Danuser

Oh look. A cherry picked quote that could easily be taken out of context.

Eh I don’t care anymore. Long as void elves stay void elves, I’m over it.

I do see why you held fans have such poor reputations among other wow fandoms at this point.

Ahaha too funny. It it literally Danuser’s answer to the question is Alleria a void elf or a high elf: https://twitter.com/SteveDanuser/status/1267309601021542402

Congrats. You found one post that sort of supports what you want. Have a cookie.

I already said I didn’t really care.

At this point I hope they don’t give helf fans anything else simply because of how obnoxious you all can be.

You’re free to hope we dont get more, but so far many high elves fans are getting more and more of what we want. Who knows, maybe Blizzard will change their mind, maybe they wont. Best case scenario I become happier and as you said, if you dont care, then net overall happiness just increases.
