Give Void Elves Natural Hair Colors

It’s actually just called “regular”.

Blood elves don’t own skin tones or hair colors or hair styles.

As opposed to the standard void elf skin tones.

Hair COLORS are fine, the STYLES are what looks stupid (on non-blue skintones)

Sure.

Still not “blood elf” skin tones, if you wanna play that game then blood elves stole human skin tones.

Who also said void elves have exclusively blue tones?

The literal first void elf ever has a regular skin tone.

Blizzard did say “Void Elves will inherit the skin color options that are available to Blood Elves.” Thus referring to them as blood elf skin tones seems to make sense.

This is why I’m so glad we got them.

I understood what he meant by it, but they are just regular skin tones.

Using “blood elf skin tones”, gives it an air of unearned exclusivity.

It’s literally just regular humanoid colors.

Before Shadowlands, blood elves were the only playable Thalassians that had it. So it was exclusively theirs among playable Thalassians.

And now they’re not. :man_shrugging:t2:

My point stands.

Void Elves were actually added at the end of Legion but sure.

Before the Shadowlands pre-patch, the skin tones being discussed were only available to blood elves among playable Thalassians. When void elves were introduced, we only had access to blue (which I was super bummed about by the way).

Correct. But the skin tones did come from blood elves.

Just give us the hair colors. Stop gatekeeping us blood elf players.

That’s a funny way of spelling Blizzard.

Well hairstyles are sort of unique to races to an extent, but I know some races do have copies because blizz is very limited on their creativity.

But yes brown hair is not a BE specific color. Pink is not a gnome specific color. Shades may be (havent paid much attention), but the colors themselves are not.

When this is discussed, people aren’t saying brown is a belf exclusive hair colour. They’re saying void elves with brown hair would look more similar to blood elves than they already do.

I want the hair, but I also recognize that some people don’t. Just because I disagree with them doesn’t mean I have to try to discredit them.

I completely agree, that’s why blood elves and void elves should be given different hairstyles from each other, but that also doesn’t mean void elves should be forced into the widows peak/emo boy aesthetic.

Void Elves can have regular hairstyles much like all other races do that aren’t identitcal to blood elf hair styles.

Since the Kul Tiran hair textures fit onto void elf hairstyles, we could always get some Kul Tiran hairstyles. That way, like with the hair we have now, they’d work on both the void elf hair colours and the kul tiran hair colours.

Imagine the draenei new side braid, but it would be twin braids on either side maybe with different bangs. Since VE dont even have a “pigtail” option like gnomes, BE, NE, and draenei that would be awesome.

Faction based hairstyles are, in my opinion, the best way to go about adding new hairstyles if Blizzard really doesn’t want to create new ones.

This and Night Elf hairstyles are not only distinct but on the same faction, these work as well too.

I’ve only seen like 2 NE styles on VE, but they really dont seem to fit the model. Theres just something slightly off when you put the two together. That’s just my personal assessment though.

These ones, right?

These are just mockups I made in GIMP. I’m sure if Blizzard wanted to port them, they’d do a much better job.

Those look fantastic. This is what I’d like to see
