This is the nature of compromise.
Plus if we get hair, we pretty much have full on High Elf Wayfarers, which is at least one type of high elf.

paladins, druids and dh
Paladins are very minor to high elves. I can only think of Champion Isimode from Wrath and a nameless generic from the paladin order hall in Legion off the top of my head.
Druids aren’t a high elf thing though.
DH is definitely not a high elf thing.

Helves have a lot more story than a lot of races already. And there’s mounts and tabards to fit them.
With natural hair colours Velves are effectively high elves in all but maybe missing a class combo.
And the advantage of what happened is that Velves are better than Belves and Helves.

Yep. For a Silver Covenant background, there’s the SC tabard, Quel’dorei Steed, and Silver Covenant Hippogryph.
For a Highvale background, there’s a bunch of different gryphons that work just fine.

Sadly the real issue is no matter what Blizzard does someone isn’t going to be happy about it and unfortunately it’s nearly impossible to make someone else happy without making someone else unhappy.

I vote we remove Void Elves from the game and make them High Elves as they should have been from the start.

Unicorns are a very Helf thing, something that even Belves left behind.

Of course it’s subjective but having this new option is pretty cool regardless if it’s better or not as good.
They actually seem excited about new race customization. Art is fun after all.
This would be ideal,
instead of void elves and blood elves, both factions get the same model with all classes available and all extra in and out skin, eye, hair colors, etc.

I love my Void Elves, you cannot and will not take my wine or purple colored hair. 
I think that customization shouldn’t make anyone unhappy unless it outright ruins your own race (like if draenei randomly got the option to have human eyes). Otherwise more options for everyone shouldn’t be a problem.
Facts, and glowing tentacles and sexy voices. Velves just best.
I agree. Or if they would fix the weird clipping and horrible textures used for the tentacles in the hair, it wouldn’t be sooooo bad? lol
Coursers have been around since Legion, but yeah they only gained the ability to fly in Shadowlands.
If I have learned anything from these threads or well any threads in general it’s that someone always isn’t or won’t be happy about something, so that’s why I said and say that and often I can see both sides, whether I agree is a different story.
