It doesn’t specify that the opposite will be the case, so the other it’s also perfectly plausible.

I’m thinking Blizz just needs to finally come out and give the scholars in the Rift lines that say they finally managed to create a process close to what Alleria went through.

Ugh I am on neither side of the current conversation. We shouldn’t be talking about light tats going to BE, that is a lightforge thing. Facial magic runes is a better idea.

You know Alleria actually did take void right? In legion she gets smacked by a ball of void straight from a void naruu you can look the cutscene up if you need to.

Why is that the visual theme though? I see lot of things that differentiate blood elves that they should add instead. Magister marks, fel scaring, gold jewelry. Horde tattoos. redder skin, high society hairstyles. Distinct makeup. Fel jewelry, floating orbs etc…

That sounds like what you want Blizz to come out and say, not what they have to say, because in that excerpt you quoted, it says they are trying to find out if they can reproduce the original process that transformed the Void Elves.
That process was not the one that transformed Alleria.
That’s the process that had Void Elves getting void “features”.

I wish there was like a main thread that covered BE customization that players could use. Such a shame we have to go through this again.
If they did recreate allerias process then it would be more of a void form, we see after she gets hit with the ball of void her void form kind of turns on and off.
I think some form of tattoos would be nice. It doesn’t need to be shiny ones, imo.
Now that they have lighter skin tones, that’s what they have to do.

Lightforged are more than the tattoos they sport. Plus theirs are more material. There’s metal bits in there.
When I talk about light tattoos for belf I more just mean a glowing Light colouration.

Yes, the cube that transformed the void elves is even more complex than that as we have seen multiple void naruu but only one of those ancient devices.

Alleria was a void elf LONG before she took the Naaru, that just empowered her.
It was consumed in the process was it not? I don’t believe it’s still there in the Rift.
