I’ve heard this too.
There’s an old text somewhere (I can’t remember if it’s an in game book from Vanilla, or the instruction manual to the game, or what) that mentions “not a single living elf remained in Quel’thalas”, so I don’t think they originally planned on having Thalassians playable in any form.
How many new hairstyles and haircolors the blood elves have? You have two themes too - Sin’dorei and Quel’dorei, Dark Ranger ( with proper mog)
Blood Elves are High Elves that isn’t a new theme.
Dark Ranger themes being available is a laugh. And no where near what you received in a second visual theme.
If you’re going to say blood elves have a Dark Ranger based solely off mogging, so do void elves.
I mean you received it too, you can easily go make a void elf.
This whole pitting players against players based on their playable race is so tired and old.
Who the hell are you to tell me about what is enough ?
Well, there is nothing saying that we won’t get anymore options for Void Elves.
After all, Blizzard did say is that they wanted to give both groups on both factions to be the High Elves, and allow us to pick our fantasy as we please.
I wont begrudge someone enjoying BE or any race they like. I sort of like the original idea of BE personally, but as soon as they got the sunwell back they kind of fell right into being a generic elf to me. Between that and the probable retcon of “well the BE in silvermoon never actually consumed fel” it really made them less interesting in my opinion, but that’s just my perspective. They still had that mana tapping thing at least, but of course that changed as well, right?
Like I said though, those are just my personal feelings about BE. I told myself I wasn’t going to focus on BE anymore since this is a thread about VE, but I get caught up in the old discussions sometimes.
Yes … that’s correct
? This doesn’t even make sense, VEs received our options, not the other way around. So if we look similar that is the reason.
So you think that the void elves have gotten more options compared to the blood elves?
The obsession to play blonde, blue-eyed elves on the Alliance is … something.
Is it any more… “Something” to want to be exclusively the only blonde haired, blue eyed elf in the game?
Coming from you who doesn’t support the new diversity options?
Coming from someone who acts like they received nothing.
No no, this is not what I mean. I’m saying you can literally go make a void elf. We pay the same subscription fee. You don’t have to play a blood elf.
So then the same applies to you if you want natural hair. You don’t have to play a VE LOL.
