Give Void Elves Natural Hair Colors

The Silver Covenant may not be part of the Alliance formally, but they are staunchly anti-separatist, believing that for betraying their oaths, the Blood Elves should have no seat among the Kirin Tor.

They likely also stem from the long-standing Silver Hand, the same order from which Uther and Turalyon hail. Though, while the Silver Hand was known to have biases against mages of any sort, despite still being ordered on the occasional escort for one (as Mages were considered valuable military assets), the Silver Covenant instead made the protection of mages and their order its full-time priority. Going by the books, as a High Elf, the most ‘honorable’ professions in life were that of a Ranger, or a guardian or developer among the old orders, be that in Dalaran or Quel’thalas. (Prior to retcons, it was notable that Varessa’s job as a tracker/bodyguard—as landed her the mission to guard Rhonin in reclaiming the Dragon Soul—were considered less than noble, especially for one with such high-standing siblings, a war hero and a Ranger-General.)

Indeed, it’s hard to be led by someone whose homeland the tried to sack during the Second War, long before the Scourge, and against whose faction considerable war crimes were committed (in Cata), and mitigated only through the death of her husband.

Despite the attempted assault on Quel’thalas back then, though, in WotLK she was much more neutral. She remained with the Alliance because she saw no reason not to be, and continued to defend it from its attackers as needed. She was pro-‘her home’, more so than ‘anti-Horde’.

I like this idea. I just want pure white and black, hair colors like blonde and brown could have a void tint.

No We just want the same amount of attention as the other core races got, like tattoos piercings, warpaints, scars etc… Male blood elves actually got LESS than void elves did, when Allied races wern’t even meant to be getting anything yet.

An allied race that’s only just been added should have less than the core race thats been around for almost 15 years. Especially when they have allready said Allied races are getting the customisation treatment further down the line. you guys haven’t even had your turn yet and still managed to come out better than male blood elves did.

Noone is saying “ignore all other races” But when bloodelf men only got a few baseline stuff and and got less new customisations than a race that wasn’t even meant to have their turn yet (void elves) then theres definitly an issue.

Again, Allied races are getting their turn later down the line it’s allready been confirmed. it wasn’t your turn yet and you still managed to get more tan the blood elf men, who WERE suposed to be the ones getting focused on. Void elves can wait their turn.

What is your point exactly? We should wait until BE have more customization to give feedback and make requests for VE?

Shouldn’t players make their requests before Blizz gets there?

I haven’t seen a single player say they want BEs ignored to work on VE so what is the message here?

I understand, ty. :hugs:
I personally hope they keep even the high elf rp options for Void elves unique to them with some kind of void effects. But that’s just my hopes.

Void options I got so far:

Chin tentacles!
Starcursed, and n’zoth eye color.
Ethereal type wraps.
Scars that show void energy beneath the wound.
Stark White and Void Black, violets, maroon, teals, blues, near neon orange and yellows, and Void(like their tentacles), and Starcursed hair colors.
Two tone hair color starting as a void color turning into a neon color.
Void fire effects to the hair.
Shadowy gas effects.
Third eye like Aszhara.
Void mouths and other old god corruptions.
Tentacle toggle.
Standard scars.
Ear slider.
Tattoos. Void and farstrider.

These are the things I’d like to see instead of leaning more into high elf themes.

Some Ethereal Wraps variants provided by Somand and Hyper.

I have a general list for blood elves too, but I think AED’s old list suffices very well still.

Very strange argument . I can’t decide wich race when will get new costumisation options. I don’t have power there .
I can only hope and give my opinion for the Void elves in this topic what I would like to see . That’s all

Not really if core races are lackluster you can use your voice to point that out to Blizzard per their own words.

I get that you want more for VEs but not only do we disagree on what VEs should get we also disagree on when, because VEs did jump the line in front of other ARs and with more meaningful customization than a lot of core races including the core race they parallel.

Lets see…

Void Elves Male Blood Elves
Skin Colours Skin Colours
Bald Hair Option Bald Hair Option
Eye Colours Eye Colours
Hair Styles
Facial Hair
Ear Lenghs

So, what exactly did Void Elves get more off?

Remove flesh tone skin from velves! Make tentacles mandatory!

Havent other AR had bits and pieces added to them as well? Or was it flat out just bald option for all?

Honestly, I think some have, but I can’t fully confirm. All I know is they all recieved the bald option. Well, except Vulpera, but nobody wants to see a fully naked fox.

Actually a tentacle toggle is good for void elves. We’ve always had hair styles without them, a toggle would allow void elf players to use more hairstyles available to us to our liking.

That it’s helpful to the high elf look is just an added benefit for those interested in that. Still though a valid void option.

Bald was given to all, but many AR’s did get some other minor things. Very little though.

Some earings and such were common.

Ztroll got green eyes.

Hey, once you go green, you can never go back.

Well the bald option is weird because it is tied to the new hairstyles somehow. If I put a helm on with an old style you can see the weird cropped hair underneath as usual, but if I use a new style and put on something like the cosmetic witch hat for Hallows End (havent tested with regular helm) you can see it’s the bald option underneath. So I guess bald is the “base” for the new styles and they built on it? I dont know how it all works, but that’s my observation.

I had to go back and put on an old style when I noticed while rocking my witch hat.

It’s ironically what I want for night elves.

Green skin or green eyes?

Actually, don’t answer the green skin part, I can’t really imagine a green elf.

Ztrolls got the eyes… Not skin. Was this an orc joke?

Eh, I meant green eyes for night elves like Malfurion has.

Yeah, I think Green Eyes would be pretty cool for Night Elves to have. But I really wish Blizzard would fix up some of the combat animations for Night Elves, especially the casters.

They seem good to me.

What is it about them you want changed?

Edit: Darkshore war glaive could be adjusted on them so it doesn’t clip into their arms in combat actually.
