Something under the lines of, “Don’t worry Era players, we haven’t forgotten about you! We are under the process and development of our next seasonal server for Classic. This won’t be Season of Mastery; rather, a season of [insert word here]. Let us take our first look into it:”

Lemme list the different words that could be inserted: Valor, Honor, Trials, Legends, Power, Ranks, or Might.
My guess is that they will make this next seasonal server based around PvP with some class and talent changes, keeping the SoM raid changes, and the other changes carried forward from the past season with modern systems from retail.

And I agree with you also it’ll be very interesting to see what is all talked about when Blizz Con comes. I’m in some way looking forward to it happy about it true, yet cautions and not expecting to get my hopes up.
