Open a new server called anathema, let people from benediction go to it and have everything be completely cross server. AH, Groups, LFG, Raids, etc.
If people don’t have to lose their guild, friends, economy, etc. It will be so much easier to get people to move.
We know you have the technology, please do something for the players.

Their utter silence here and on Twitter regarding the queue issue inspires no confidence in me. The fact that they’re offering a dead PVE server or a 99% horde PVP server as transfer options is a slap in the face as well.

LOL.
No, you wanted this.
Edit: It is sad, but this is such a great idea. But anyone that plays knew this was coming. Anyone that transferred knew this was coming. Thank you to all the brain deads that transferred to a mega server. No queues is lovely.

Nobody wanted 6 hour queue times, don’t be ridiculous.

Yes cus blizzard is gonna take suggestions from a random player on the forums. Not to say that it’s a bad idea but, well, it’s not a great one and here’s why. It’s a temporary problem that you’re trying to create a permanent solution for.
Besides, Blizzard wants these queues and here’s why:
-
Gets people to transfer off of mega servers, slimming down the population to provide a better player experience for those that will remain on those servers. This makes blizzard look good, without having to really do anything. They look like the good guys.
-
People who wanna play without a queue will either PAY to transfer to a server of their choosing and hence Blizzard makes money OR people take the free transfers to Sulfuras or Old Blanchy, saving those dying servers from actually dying while lightening the load on megaservers. This may also create new balanced PVP servers; Old Blanchy and Sulfuras.
-
If players one day want to go back to their megaserver, which is likely because Old Blanchy is still kinda dead, and Sulfuras, while growing, is still horde dominant, people will have to pay to transfer back, and hence, Blizzard makes money.
Resurrect deviate delight next

And then what exactly? More servers begin to die off as everyone abandons ship to be part of the Omega Mega Server?
Yeah it’s just awful for those of us who were already on these servers, and the free transfer options they’ve given us are a dead PVE server or a PVP server that is literally 99% horde right now.
I work for a multi-billion dollar company that doesn’t want to spend a dime more than they absolutely have to on anything, so I can see what’s happening here.
I just think…imagine how long Netflix would stay in business if they released a new show and people went to watch it and got a notice saying there were too many people watching it right then so they’d have to wait around 4 hours to watch it themselves. lol. It’s really no different here. We’re paying for a service we’re not getting to use do to the service provider failing to maintain an infrastructure capable of serving the number of subscribers they have.

You right.
But Blizzard has made it clear there are caps to population that can be online at one time, it is not changing, and it has always been this way.
Transfer, come back in 90 days for $25 and help Bobby buy a new yacht.
It’s a hostage situation for a lot of you, and I’m sorry. And remember, they listen to the community. No RDF caused the surge of transfers. Show me that anti RDF hype again, I miss it.

I didn’t want this. People transferring from dead servers turned this into a mega server.
If blizz limited their transfer options to other servers that were dying instead of letting them all go to one server, this would have been avoided. But as usual, blizzard does nothing.
Probably looking forward to the $25 transfer money again.
Why when we still have other dead servers lmao?
Because clearly people don’t want to leave their friends, guilds, an active server, etc. to a server that will likely die in a few months and then they have to transfer back. At least this way both servers are connected to one another and the only thing that changes is how many people are jamming up the world.

They didnt? Then why would they continue to transfer to grobb or bene?
Both are locked but Blizz really did not prepare themselves for 30k+ players trying to cram themselves into each server.
Don’t believe the naysayers rn on the forum, Sulfuras and Old Blanchy are looking quite good and their populations are bouncing back. Please look at population numbers from Population add ons and not Ironforge that’s 2 weeks behind and still showing numbers before transfers opened up.
Hasn’t been 99% Horde for several days. More like 55/45

not if you are talking about level 70’s
I am talking about 70’s
If I include the leveling DK’s, it’s more like 50/50
I dropped my druid on sulfuras (alliance) and it seems to be picking up momentum. The druid is level 65 and while questing i had no issues with being swarmed, and quite a few /cheer’s from questing horde players.
In their eyes this is a temporary issue and they’re just praying people stop trying to play Classic and things revert to how they were
