Give Us A New Server (Pref. RP-PvP)

Blizzard messed up releasing only two servers at launch and then allowing the excess botting and not addressing the early on problem of there being too many players and not enough resources, i.e. Black Lotus, which encouraged gold-buying and leading to the initial inflation for 6-months.

The community needs a fresh server. And a lot of the community would reroll on a fresh RP-PvP and RP server if you simply created them. You might even get a lot of subscribers to come back to the game who left due to these problems.

Just a thought, but the community HAS spoken. We want an RP-PvP and RP server. We will reroll on it. And it likely will not see the issues that arose due to bots, Black Lotus spawn rates, etc. etc. Please do this ONE THING for us, Blizzard. We are begging you. My subscription runs out soon and I’m so done unless there’s another chance to play without these issues.

We were ignored for the short timeline before Anniversary, we will be trying again for TBC Pre-Patch.

Forced Megaservers are a mistake and they should be realizing that by now.

Releasing a fresh server right now would kill it on the spot.

Come hang out while we wait:

Grobbulus is one of the most successful servers of Classic’s history. Actually kind of amazing they didn’t take note of that.

They think since they botched and ruined SoM and SoD RP servers that that means no one wants RP servers anymore

Which server was RP-PVP on SOM? I don’t recall

You are correct, there weren’t any. I did not play SoM, hopefully someone can add why there weren’t RP for SoM. I’ll check my thread to see what was said about that.

Edit:
They did mention no RP servers and tried to RP on SoM, but struggled and eventually fizzled because no dedicated server.

There is zero need for an RP/RP-PVE server. We do not need (2) PVE servers, which will assuredly end up 90:10, one for each faction.

SOM was doomed from the start due to timing of the release…right during the height or TBC classic…I believe SOM would be a hit if was a solo release

Generally takes blizzard 18 years to figure out where they goofed, and even then I doubt they really get it.
