Give the Horde a break

Alynsa: A forest is comparable to your home in regards to if someone is aware that someone is living there or not.

If you live in it, yes.

Nah.
Doors and gates have legal precedent, homie.
If a door is closed, it is a clear sign that you are not welcome without announcing yourself.
Man if only the orcs saw that closed door.

So we’re going by American law?

Cool. Nelves clearly live in a region that upholds the castle doctrine. They had no obligation to negotiate with the criminal orcs, who clearly knew after the “rofl scares” that the land was occupied. The orcs had the chance to withdraw. Night elves were within their rights to stand their ground, defend their property and use lethal force against the criminal orcs.

We can go by medieval dark age law, if you like.
Doors have ancient precedent.
Doors denote areas that are not intended to be entered without a welcoming.

Imagine thinking real life laws apply to a fantasy game :eyes:

What.
She compared a forest to a home.

If you want to go by those rules then Orc actions by invading NE territory and stealing their natural resources would be declaration of war.

It’s the literal home of the kaldorei

Real life laws DO NOT apply. Not my fault your reading comprehension is that low

Ah, so you’re saying anyone can invade any tauren home without reprisal.

Because no doors.

Then why compare it to real life homes wherein your items are being broken by an intruder?
Night Elves left no territory markers.
No fences, no gates.
There was no way for the orcs to have known until they encountered the night elves themselves.

I can understand why you might think that, if you knew absolutely nothing about the cultures that Tauren were inspired by.

See: tauren structures. Troll too.

You have just argued their homes can be freely entered.

Those ghosts that scared the peons were your verbal warning.
Why didn’t the orcs listen? They have themselves to blame my boy.

Treng.

The door requirement is your logic, not mine.

Don’t blame me for its failings.

chronicle even explained that A) Cenarius was watching the newcommer the entire time and was worry because of the legion, he know the legion was acting, the night elves know what was happening in lordaeron. They know about the scourge before any undead show their face on kalimdor and B), that the night elves in the beginning thought…like others before, that they would simple travel through ashenvale.

Using your logic, the Tauren are free game to be invaded at any time
