Give queue priority to accounts with level 70 characters older than X days

Title. We all know that a large portion of the queue is made up of tourists/new players/returning players as the queues didn’t hit until prepatch. Suggestion: implement a priority queue for certain accounts based on specific criteria.

For example, you may need to have a character that has been level 70 for more than X days or Y < number of logins in the past Z days, etc. to qualify for priority queue. That way you’re not pissing off the loyal players and the returning ones see no difference as they’re sitting in a 2-5 hour queue depending on time of day anyways. At least this way some portion of the playerbase is happy.

Not gona help the game. Any attempt like this to exclude pre prepatch chars wouldnt be possible as it would exclude people who xfered leading to potential lawsuits. Cant exclude it based on level or it would exclude people whoo have been playing since classic launch. Cant exclude it for any char mads after prepatch bc it would exclude all DKs.

This is a blizz server management issue not a player issue.

As long as there’s a level 70 on the account that met the criteria then you would get priority queue. That was just an example for priority criteria, there could be others.

To the exclusion comment, I’ll parrot what people say on the other posts complaining about queues: take the transfer or roll on a server with no queue.

How bout we dont but we say we did

Doesn’t matter.

You all pay the same money, therefore, you all get the same wait.

Your elitism is showing, but you have nothing to back it up.

Lmfao. Who wants to go first. You vs Blizz legal.

Or we could just not suck

Fine, you should also pay an extra sub fee to give you priority.

No one should be given priority paying the same price as everyone else. It doesn’t matter if the person is a tourist, new player or returning. We are all paying the same sub price. I myself have been playing since early Vanilla, but sure don’t expect any special treatment.

You can’t deny that it’s frustrating not being able to play because the queue is filled with people who will likely quit a few weeks into naxx if not sooner

Careful! Let’s not give them any bright ideas. There are some games that do this already.

I’m not going to deny that I’m not a little frustrated sitting in a queue right now. It sure isn’t fun. I would of course rather be playing when I have free time.

But, it isn’t the fault of the players also wanting to play just like me. We are all paying our monthly sub and entitled to the same service no matter if we play every day consistently or only once a month.

Since I have been playing since Vanilla I’m also used to queues during major launches. I pretty much shrug them off these days. Many years ago I used to play on Illidan realm and I was in queue nightly for 1-2 hours, and that wasn’t even during major launches. Thankfully, things have gotten better where servers don’t have queues on a nightly basis, except for major launches. While they aren’t fun by any means, it is what it is and to be expected on popular realms and major launches.

I made a new character on Skyfury days ago and it wasn’t full at all. Last night I was in a small queue that lasted maybe 15 minutes. Tonight? It’s almost an hour.

Lol, you are right actually :stuck_out_tongue:

I was being sarcastic, but yeah, some games actually do this. We definitely don’t need that here.

dont give blizz any ideas

let me in blizzard please let me in

I think people buying for a transfer and then not having it accessible due to this threads bad idea would have an easy case. Small claims does wonders against big corp.

It’s not inaccessible.

I’ll take my multi million dollar defense paper in cash please.

You must not have read the thread then.

I play the game dude. You can access your character in 3+ hours, OR, you can transfer off the full server for free.

Inaccessible how?

Unfortunately companies know that the loyal players are more forgiving. They get more sub money from screwing us over in favor of the fickle part time players. Besides, infrastructure and active management has costs. Easier to sit on their hands and then wonder why the user base leaves in three months.

If you cant comprehend what i said maybe you should reread it. You are having an argument with yourself.
