I can understand the lower DPS on some of the more defensive healers but there is no way a Shammy or Priest should be that low, and proper use of interrupts and AoE stops is critical to being able to put out damage on a Shammy at least.
All this does is make me shake my head more at how silly that whole situation is.

I’m farming 10-12’s in my Rsham and i’m top 1 interrupt in dungeons, and i’m not counting the knockup and the capacitor. The kit+the player makes the good/worst experience. Psychic Scream can screw up a lot in pulls.

This doesn’t proof anything really.
In a Necrotic Wake 2nd boss one cast of frost volley can mean a full wipe, and most of the time, it does.
So if Rsham just does 1 interrupt throughout all dungeon but he kicked THAT frost volley, then that interrupt was 100% more worth than any healing or any other interrupt of whatever ability.
Same applies to a fear in Stonevault first packs as another example.
A single interrupt can be huge
When I play with my Hpal I let everyone else do the interrupts, and just let mine free for that specific cast that will result in a wipe and nobody is there to stop it.

Doesn’t that speak to how those rshamans are able to coast by despite (not because of) their poor play?
Haha, when you have utility for every occasion (even a missed interrupt with blanket CC or mitigation or fear/poison or whatnot) you can afford to be lazy.

Or just spam one button to heal the whole group to 0 to 100.
A bad rsham is still going to be significantly more useful than an average or above-average hpriest.
For hpriest, yeah, more than likely at least someone will have to die if they didn’t pop a personal, potion or lock rock.
But for rsham, again, it’s just a minor annoyance as they spam chain heal or pop one of their cds to heal the entire group at once.
