You can already use a gun, it’s called a wand. Just say “bang bang” whenever you shoot it and you’ll be killin the damage meters… with your gun.

in fact, there are MANY, MANY THINGS THAT ARE REQUESTED IN WOW, and that are hidden by the crap of Rogue’s classes for hoofed races, the evoker, and the Drackthyr cringe choice a race with one only class.
In fact there is more like the use of Warglaives not only for DH, more DH for other races not only elves, 1H guns, Tinker Class, Worgens and Goblins like Monks (really only 2 races) and obviously it would be a great idea seeing a Mage with guns.
But it is very disappointing that blizzard does not act NOW for this expansion and we have to wait for when we will have news that would really please the community.

So it’s been verified: you really will “shoot your eye out” with an official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock.

I think it would do us Mages a lot of good to get a sniper rifle. I would like to be able to DPS mobs in any instance (Raids included) from a high point in any major city.

Taking the time it took to get the one very vaguely based on lore movie we had, I guess a Warcraft deep lore based movie wont happen in our lifetimes. And I am sure the only way it gets enough to make interest in a movie will be if they ditch WoW sinking ship and get a Warcraft 4 and cater to the people who really like Warcraft, not people who like to show off in an MMO and chooses Warcraft themed one because it suits them.
