I do think it’s funny, the idea of Druid Engineers. You’d think the whole advanced technology thing would clash with the love of nature thing they got going on, but they work together in harmony…
Sorry, but Slippery Slope is a fallacy by nature of it creating a hypothetical. Not only a hypothetical, but one that is always slated towards the negative or points towards the negative. It’s really as simple as that.
It’s a fear tactic. We can never truly know if the series of events or results we are proposing via slippery slope are in any way determined to follow the event or action.
i cant get behind this. Just run back to the dungeon, you bring a druid because of different reasons the rez isnt a consideration, plus sometimes you have a pally or a priest in the group to offset that.

thats a false equivalence and a half, ‘truly knowing’ anything is impossible and that line of thinking is highly reductive and redundant, you can argue against any assertion someone makes on any subject with statements like that, inference and common sense dictates that the slippery slope theory is highly plausible, and WoW’s history is self-evident that the slippery slope occurred and in great detail. Youtubers have documented this for years now, those like me who wished for the vanilla to wrath era back.
Fear tactic? its dread over an almost inevitability at this point. And this thread is testament to that.

Both of which are based on presuppositions and would still need to be backed by hard evidence if ever brought to the forefront as reasonable suppositions. One cannot argue on the basis of “common sense” or conventional wisdom because both would need to be proven inherently reasonable first.

Then do what dps do and link your HPS or something. There is more than enough healers trying to get into groups, and if you’re mad that a bunch of bads who think a RDruid is a detriment to the team aren’t taking you for content, then you’re honestly better off.

As a druid player I have never felt that my class has held me back in any form of content. I do not blame my class for any shortcomings I have . You made it 70 levels with the druid class, you knew what you were getting into. A craftsman shouldn’t blame his tools.

Boosted player who dont know how good they have it! Tbc boosty are something am starting to really despise. I hate the fact that want everything and all. Not even realizing how bad it was!

when my druid was resto for a few levels, and a DPS keeps pulling aggro… and oops let him die… that solo run back to the dungeon really puts that DPSer in line for the rest of the run.
i considered it payback from 62-65 when i swapped to resto bc fool dps ignoring the fact i had 2.5s autoattack and 6s mangle and pitiful swipe for tanking, rage starved bc dps pull aggro right off the bat in pugs.
in my druids dungeon leveling grind, I can’t count on one hand how many dpsers i let die (they got a rejuv+1LB and that’s it). we keep going on trash while that DPSer isn’t padding his epeen dps meter til he catches back up with us.

Your fallacy is : false equivalence.
A healing spec missing a fundamental part of healing is not even any where near LFR or other extreme changes, the world is not black and white, we can have discretion and add things that don’t take away from the spirit of the game, like I said there have already been changes and unless you are ACTIVELY campaigning for these changes to be undone, your entire argument is moot, pedantic, and redundant.
Revive will be a selling point of Wrath Classic.
Out of combat res is not fundamental though. You don’t need it stop asking for it please. I want this I want that. Everyone wants something from the game that’s how we got retail.
