Give Death Knights the access to Frostmourne appearance

Suppose making it a two handed weapon and having the lich king swinging it with one hand would just be a way to show how strong the lich king is. I feel like that would be a trope that blizz would shamelessly use.

Itā€™s literally a blade thatā€™s only half his body size why would he 2h that.

What are the plans and why are they important? I have a hard time fitting it into the current storyline, especially for a class specific item. Are the DKā€™s going to save us all from Xalā€™atath? How does domination magic fit here?

I think given you would have countless DKā€™s using it, it may also fit better if everyone simply used a fragment of it to reforge into a new weapon similar to it. I know people want to wield Frostmourne, but I donā€™t see it.

Weā€™re past discussing if Frostmourne is a 2h weapon. Please move on.
It is already stated in official sources.

Stop trolling.

Youā€™re just mad about it not being a greatsword, and unable to accept that the sword is not a greatsword.

Death knights use greatswords, but the Lich King Arthas, used a 1h runeblade.

Doomhammer was a warriorā€™s mace that shattered the rune-blade used by (not a death knight) Anduin Lothar and passed down to an elemental shaman and was a enhancement artifact. Blizzard has never been consistent with what its weapons are supposed to be. Twin Blades of Azzinoth can be used by rouges, warriors, death knights, demon hunters and monks and are considered swords.

Frostmourne would be fine on UH and Blood. The LK was a master of all three, after all (and it would give me something that matches all those Torghast cosmeticsā€¦).

However, I agree that forcing frost to dual wield was a dumb choice. Possibly even dumber than going back on the promise of letting all three specs tank, homogenizing runes, taking away Unholyā€™s ability to turn players into zombies, taking away Unholyā€™s ability to turn itself into a zombie, splitting up the diseases, or making Infernals a Destruction pet after letting me have it as a permanent pet as Demonology for all of WoD (sorry, couldnt resist).

Dual wielding DKs look funny anyways.

Just report him and move on, his spam will be removed by mods once the posts are flagged.

The twin blades were made in a time when Demon Hunters didnā€™t exist, now they have their own separate entities as warglaves.

Blizzard logic, Iā€™ll give you most of the art of him looks like he uses it with one hand. Though the unobtainable item of it in the files does call it a two hand. Which is why I would say its just trying to portray him as being strong enough to use a two handed sword with one hand.

Itā€™s happened to me countless times, and they were subsequently unhiddened after they realized I wasnā€™t actually trolling.

False or malicious reporting is a good way to get yourself sanctioned. Just because you disagree with an answer in a conversation, a different opinion, or pointing out the short comings of your logic does not mean it is spam or trolling. You seem to have no idea how to have a healthy debate on a topic and only want to hear an echo-chamber.

I donā€™t think us warriors can even transmog the Glaives of Azzinoth if Iā€™m not mistaken.

Thats my point. You canā€™t go by the ā€œoh it says its a 2h on the wiki!ā€ or whatever because there are countless examples of it is supposed to be X when we clearly see itā€™s Y.

It is Demon hunter only, because it became their artifactā€™s visual.
Blizzard enabled all legendaries to be mogged except the two swords warglaive of azzinoth.

Look, I have made WoW-Style handpainted assets myself, in fact I am a 3D artist, and in all the 2D and 3D concepts Iā€™ve seen, Arthas was always wielding a 1H sword. The length of the sword does not even remotely fit a 2H profile.

Itā€™s why they had to reforge them with ice instead of metal because the shards alone wouldnā€™t be enough for two metallic weapons, the design was given careful attention to detail on the matter as Blizzard artists are really cult-like when it comes to Death Knight artistry.

You canā€™t but my warrior, who got them in TBC, still has them equipped.

I think we are agreeing on the same points hereā€¦

Iā€™m a real life blade smith. Yeah it can look like a 1 handed weapon compared to the size. But itā€™s been stated itā€™s a 2 handed long sword. I mean in that cutscene you showed earlier Ashbringer was wielded the same way.

Which is a point, some things should stay class specific because it keeps things unique imo.
