Is it possible to do a /ginvite to an alt? I’m in a guild and not a lot of people play but I have the guild invite ability. Am I able to invite alt’s who are not part of my guild? And how would I be able to do it?
Create a recruitment listing and have your alt apply via the listing. Then you can accept their request and they can join the guild.

I tried that before. But only the guildmaster could accept.

well one possible solution would be if you have an alt account, to use for a dummy character to invite to aforementioned guild then to use said character to add a character on main would be a good way to do it.
(but other than that i have barely any clue since the guild isn’t yours to my knowledge, unless there’s the De-throne option on the guildmaster if they haven’t been on in a long while.)
Odd, it works for me and that is how I do guild invites for my alt. I even just did a cross-realm guild invite that way without issue.
My Guild Leader alt created a recruitment listing for her guild.
My alt who wanted to join then did a search for the guild in the Guild Finder and applied via the listing.
I switched back to Guild Leader alt and she accepted the application by clicking INVITE.
Then I switched back to the alt who applied and clicked ACCEPT on the invitation.
That alt is now in my guild as well.

This is great!! I had no idea you could do this. I have all my little level 20s currently guildless and I’d love to get them invited to my personal guild. Gonna try it this week.

Pooh, just so you’re aware, starter edition accounts are restricted from all guild related functions, including joining and forming guilds.

I don’t think the OP is the guild leader of the guild in question is the issue
I thought you could join a guild as an F2P player as long as you already had character in that guild.

Join a Community with the Guild Leader or someone who can link a recruitment listing in the Community chat. Also, join the Community with the cross-faction alt. Then the cross-faction alt will apply via the recruitment listing in the chat.
At least that is how I did it before when cross-faction guild invites were introduced.
