Gilneas in 10.0

And Northshire, 100 metres south, is still on fire.

I’m still holding my breath for a Lordaeron-cetered expansion, where Tirisfal Glades, Quel’Thalas, Gilneas, etc. become max level daily/questing zones.
Now that the plaguebomb Sylvanas set off in BfA has most likely cleared up, I can definitely imagine a scenario where the Forsaken, Humans, Scarlet Crusade, Silver Hand, etc. would all be staking their claims of rightful ownership.

Simultaneously, Turalyon (along with the Void Elves) are bound to take interest in the Sunwell and maybe try to invade Quel’Thalas to take it for their own, thus bringing us a Quel’Thalas Warfront (one can hope). Gilneas would also be a pivotal city for the Alliance (attacking faction) and could maybe be a daily quest hub or even a Wintergrasp-esque world PvP zone.

This would be a more politically-driven campaign than anything, and would perhaps allow players to choose the side of the war they agree with and enlist in that faction. It’s a tall order, but like I said, I’m holding my breath.

Are you talking about the Vineyard? That is being continuously burned by orcs. Had nothing to do with Deathwing. This at least makes sense.

When you complete the questline for Westfall, Sentinel Hill also gets stuck being on fire permanently from what I’ve heard. Stratholme is literally cursed to be on fire permanently.

They really loved making things burn permanently back then.
