Blizz, when are you going to fix the hacks that allow players to hack Gilneas BG’s? Either fix it or take the BG down so that people don’t waste their time in there when it’s impossible to win.

Explaining hacks is a big no no on the forums.
You can vaguely say what happened though.

can you somewhat describe what you mean ? ive never seen any hacks in any battlegrounds since legion/bfa besides that one tank buff that made tanks immune to damage for some reason.
I’m 95% sure they are just posting a random “CHEATER” thread when they got their butt handed to them. We all had one of those friends growing up that whenever they lost it was because the other team or refs cheated.

I have no reason to speak here, but Gilneas is one of the few BGs that has no protection against people glitching out of the spawn and grabbing bases. All the other BGs dont spawn the objectives until the game starts besides gilneas.
Must be a bug as I’ve seen the bases spawn late in Gilneas.
Basically the hack let’s a team get credit for all three bases, even if they only hold two. Not sure how it works, but it definitely gives them the easy win. Was in a game last weekend where this happened.
It’s 5 weeks after OPs original post, and what they explained, is exactly what my team experienced tonight.
We controlled and held Lighthouse in Battle for Gilneas, however the UI showed that Horde had control of all three bases. The resource counter ticked by faster, because of it.
This needs to be looked into and addressed.
I remember back in the day when people would stand as close as they could to the Eye of the Suck bubble and use the mammoth mount and ‘jump’ out of the bubble, and you could cap bases before the battle even started.
good times. it got fixed faster than when the Allies just mountain walked across AV back in the day and dropped into the Horde keep
