Yeah I don’t understand. First us worgens got screwed on our heritage armor and now… this… thing? Gilneas is supposed to be this cool gothic city. You can’t do just a little better with the concept of a gothic city with werewolves in it?

It’s hideous. The “Gilnean Noble’s Suit” looks like the culmination of years of underwhelming practice with very little thought.

I was hoping for the Second War Footman Plate Armor or atleast something of Plate Guardsman or something but hey Noble Suit is fine.
Was hoping for a trench coat or an update to the heritage with different color options like other heritage sets. But yeah the boots. Very flat. Most boots for awhile now have had some amount of detail especially three dimensional detail. I would think some of this was in data storage and blizz used it or they had to quickly throw this together to make release.

I’m trying to cope by telling myself it’s bugged and is meant to have 3d parts.
I mean, the Gilneas questline was on the roadmap as a major thing, it’s not like Blizz would just give us the minimum effort for the transmog and a recoloured mount, right?
It’s not like they did the exact same for the customisations also on the road map…
Lol, those boots… they add pants halfway up the leg. How in the world did that happen?
And the pants without the belt added on make you look like you’re wearing a diaper. Probably still looks a bit like a diaper with the belt added on, but less so.
The heritage armor for Worgen isn’t quite as bad, but it would be better had it had the same color scheme as Greymane has. The blueish-grey and gaudy gold is weird.

Everything about it is trash except the helm.
The shoulders also go better with the actual Heritage set than the actual Heritage set shoulders, which is funny, because unlike the Heritage shoulders anybody can just wear it.

Maybe mix the heritage with it to make something really fabulous…or very cursed
On my human I hid the shoulders, changed the boots to one of the human heritage boots, and changed the pants to some plain black shadowlands pants and it made it look better.
Not a fan of the boots that are also pants somehow and not a fan of the design of the shoulders. But the look is salvageable. I dig the hat and monacle.
Besides one lore character though, I’ve never considered this style to be the Worgen aesthetic so it’s kind of a miss overall for me.
The entire experience was a complete disappointment.
The king just gave up his kingdom which makes this all feel entirely a waste of time.
We took back the city and there is absolutely nothing in it (and there never will be) making it all feel like a waste of time. If we are going to take a city back we should be able to use it as a hub.
The Transmog set needs to go back to the drawing board, and whoever signed off on it needs to be moved to another department but with this big of a failure on something so easy should probably be let go along with the people who wrote this story.
100% a waste of player time and development time. Dont bother doing it unless you want a white fox mount. Thats really the only part that is worth it.
King Greymane is a mopey failure of a king, and who is Tess? Oh right, a character to check a box.

Uhm… Tess is a very well-known character who’s story picked up exponentially through Legion and has been a main focus for the Gilnean people through the books. Greymane will be around during War Within - which is good because being King has been holding him back from exploring new narratives.
