I’ll keep my eyes peeled. If not Gilblins, a goblin like AR would be nice. Hopefully they will flesh out the lore more for Gilgoblins.

I also recommend the new war campaign quests be completed. I suspect at least a pair of whatever future allied races, whatever they are, will require you to be up to date on the war campaign on both factions.
Likely doing all the story quests in Nazjatar would also be a good thing to complete, just in case.
8.2 is going to be neat as I’m sure allied race megathreads in general will start getting active with discussions on clues and whatnot. ^^

ok so the breaks in the post kinda broke and I had to copy paste the whole op and delete the glitchy texty parts. But now the original line breaks that I had before the forum change won’t work and I’m stuck with doing those big paragraph breaks. The sillies are a wall of text because I’d rather have a clump of words than an endless stream of empty space with some words inbetween.
If someone knows how to insert normal sentence breaks plz halp ;-;

i think these are a realistic expectation. could have some neat racials, too.

sorry if I’m confused but I tried copying the url, the embed link, and timestamped link and none of them are working.
Try clicking on the part of the video that says"Warcraft". It should take you to a twitch page that has the video. When you get to that page copy the web link/image address. Unless this is exactly what you attempted before. Could also give this a try at another time. Sometimes coming back to an issue later on helps new fresh ideas come to mind.

Since this is the megathread for Gilblins, I’m going to take what I said in another thread and suggest that once datamining and 8.2 officially come out, that we keep an eye out for female Gilblin models. If we see any, that could be a really good hint of them becoming a possible allied race in the near future. ^^

I have a feeling this thread is going to be a heck of a lot more active lately. I remember at one point it didn’t have an activity for like 3 months. Nice to see the OP didn’t give up faith in it.

I’m happy for any news of any sort for any allied race. You can bet I’ll be looking for clues and adding in the discussions once we get to learn about 8.2 stuff.
Gilblins are in my top 10 most wanted races, so I’ll be happy to help. I’m also hoping to find any hints for Ogres, my most wanted race, as well. ^^

Glad to see someone who genuinely wants Gilblins. I tell you. I’ve been told so many times by people that nobody wants Gilblins it is insane. Heck. Even if they aren’t smart like most goblins, I still think they would be fun to play as. After all. Most goblins in general world fantasy lore aren’t super-geniuses anyway.

I am not sure if I said this somewhere, but I’m more of the mindset of working together and just being excited for new races rather than putting others down. Besides, it’ll open some fun possibilities of finding clues and discussing them in the appropriate megathreads on the forums. ^^

A mistake I often make on these forums. That is not thinking in a more peaceful work together mindset. Sometimes I can be pretty aggressive when debating with people over the whole Gilgoblin thing. In all honesty. It is not worth getting so frustrated over at times. This is all just speculation anyway.

It can be easy to get in that mindset. Especially when people want a particular race to be playable. It can also get very tiring to get yelled at, insulted, and such for wanting a particular race.
My opinion is that unlike a fighting game, there are no “slots” for allied races, and that Blizzard can continue to expand the character creation screen as needed to keep adding both allied and full new races when the time and story call for it.
All I can say is just keep showing support for your most wanted race and try not to let the naysayers get to you. There’ll always be naysayers for any race, and Blizzard would rather be looking at the positives than all the people being negative towards a discussed potential new race when taking feedback into consideration.
At any rate, I’m looking forward to seeing where the storyline goes regardless.

We Ogre fans tend to get some “no dumb smelly Ogres plz they too big” comments, so I can kind of relate. Granted, Gilblin fans have had to endure a lot on a regular basis.
That said, I think it’s best to look towards the future. It’s looking so bright, we might have to wear shades! (⌐■_■)
