Sorry I know it's been a while and I've been pretty busy so I haven't written any scenario or anything, but I thought I might as well bump this before it decays any longer

I must say the future of allied races is looking pretty interesting so far. Even if this race doesn't cut it, I'm seeing a lot of possibility for some other really cool options

I'm glad you bumped this when you did, I hadn't seen it before. I'll admit I don't think I'd ever play 1, but it would be cool to have 1 pop up in a group or bg from time to time. Either way this was a good break from a Sunday that had been Sunday'r than usual. Good luck with your race, the more races the better.

I actually have another suggestion which I think would be way cooler. How about charred goblins? Basically goblins of living flame.

This is a very well thought out and good thread. I hope that goblins at least get a competent goblin AR race. Something that people can look forward to in anticipation.

Yeah, this all started as a “why not” race…but now it’s scarily close to being a possibility 0_0

That was me when I started the San’layn thread, there had been no information out prior to me getting there, it was more of a “man, wouldn’t it be cool if…” and then viola, information came out! I think that, out of the three races we work with, Gilgoblins would have a high chance of actually joining the horde, and the mechagnomes might either be counterparts or just customization for the Alliance (who knows for that one).

They could make some serious model modifications, and to be honest I see Gilgoblins as counterparts to either the regular or ancient Jinyu.
