I don’t have any likes left for another nine hours apparently, so take this money bag as a sign of my appreciation towards ya Eevee. The highest compliment a Goblin can pay (sorry, bad pun!) someone else. :moneybag:

Yesss I definitely think we can have both. We’ve seen with the night elf skeleton that Blizz isn’t afraid to reuse, and even if vulpera become Gallywix’s allied race we could always add Hobart or someone to the embassy.

And as mentioned. I am putting aside the us vs them mentality. Don’t me wrong. I still plan on debating and stuff, but I am trying to keep my debates as constructive and intelligent as not treat it like a competition. I feel happier getting along with Vulpera supporters anyways. And besides. I think Vulpera would be a great race too. I just really want Gilgoblins and think they can be be done right too.

I’m kinda expecting us to get both of them honestly.
Bilgewater will recruit Gilgoblins, Huojin Pandaren will recruit Vulpera.

If both Gilblins and Vulpera get announced, I vote for a beach or pool party event when both are playable. It would be a very exciting day for me to see both announced, along with whatever we get for the Alliance allied races! ^^

Also Blizzcon was announced to be November 1st and 2nd, and as I’ve said in other megathreads, I really hope we don’t have to wait that long for any new race announcements. x- x

I have a Gilblin that cohabitates with Murlocs. Her family, and the murloc tribe all live in Bluegill Marshes near Menethil.

It’s clear that we don’t share your opinion. Bye~

Because:

  1. I already love goblins to begin with.
  2. We don’t have an aquatic race yet.
  3. These guys actually look quite good. The male ones have glowing blue teeth and eyes as well as some beautiful tattoos.
  4. Just imagine if these things could be druids. There should be good lore behind it, but the sea forms would be amazing.
  5. There is some mogs that they would look especially rad in compared to regular goblins. They’d shine well with mage and shaman mogs.
  6. Just imagine if they were updated with bioluminescent hair and fins. Given a bit of the dark iron treatment.

So far, I haven’t heard of any involvement. However, we are almost certainly going to see murlocs of some kind in Nazjatar.

Wouldn’t surprise me if there were some Murlocs part of The Unshackled that are friendly to player characters, but I don’t recall seeing them in the “friends” part of the Blizzcon panel. Ankoan are likely just Ankoan, but that is just a guess.

I’ve heard that a few times, but I don’t recall seeing the source that was being cited. Wouldn’t surprise me if it were true.

That said, I wouldn’t mind if the Ankoan met with the Jinyu and they became an allied race. <- <;

Jinyu came from murlocs. Apparently ankoan didn’t come from deep sea murlocs but are instead an offshoot that left Pandaria long ago to hunt in the deep waters

And I thought I was a goblin lover…

I just feel too attached to my first character, and main to change her to anything but being an undead. I did race change one of my gals to a goblin because, well I made a bunch of troll and orcs before I realized I don’t like 'em. They have all the legacy achievements and I’m not too privy to just delete them. But I don’t have the money to change them all.

Anyways, I’m just hoping that the goblins get an updated model come 8.2.5 like Blizz promised again. I feel for the Worgens, but with the goblins they just had to update them like they did with the other races.

I don’t see why they don’t have Vulpera be the ‘neutral’ allied race partnered to the Pandaren and the Gilblins be the allied race to the Goblins. Both Vulpera and Pandaren are fuzzy races, and Goblins and Gilblins are well, you get the idea.

No compromising, and everyone’s happy. Even the Alliance because they get the option to play Vulpera with the goblin skeleton.

Vulpera don’t use the same goblin skeleton anymore, it’s been switched out more and more as the expansion has gone on.

Also the alliance has attacked and killed vulpera according to Nisha.

Vulpera also have no positive interactions with the horde, so none of it would make sense.

If they were to be the pandaren allied race, I think it would have to be to Horde pandaren specifically. They have some bad blood with the Alliance rn.
