Keep in mind that it is early in the PTR. Especially as things get closer to the goblin model updates, the npcs may follow. There was an HD gilgoblin in one of the previews.

In my opinion, goblins and worgen should have always had monks. (Draenei and blood elfs can be monks, so the past timeline thing should not be an issue.) Once these races receive their model updates, I think it would be a good opportunity to open up that class to them at the start of the next expansion.

Here’s why: WHEN do you start? Goblins start in Kezan, and Worgens start in Gilneas. That’s… really it… You know how you solve this issue? DON’T START THERE! As Goblin/Worgen Monks, why not start at the temple and then level up there? Boom, time inconsistency fixed. I agree with you on that and… they ought to fix that.

I can do one better.
Pandaren Teacher: You have learned the Basics, it is time for you to return to Kezan/Gilneas to spread the ways of the Monk.
‘Kezan and GIlneas starting zone begins.’
Then just add like a Astral Projection by the Teacher for trainer.

Bam, problem solved.
Like you can do it with minimal changes.

New Goblin and Worgen models are coming out in 8.2 or close to it still, right? Will be interesting to see where that leads.

I just hope they don’t ruin the eyes for all types of mog customizations. Notice in my profile, how I use the eyes. I am worried that they will look less scary and gloomy when the new model updates come.

So if there is a Siege of Orgrimmar 2, seeing as rumors of a coup are getting stronger, then having Gilblins and their aquatic allies leading a charge from the waters would be a huge asset as land forces attack from different areas.

Can you imagine a group of sea giants, Ogres, and frenzied Vulpera in this battle? Total chaos and carnage, I bet!

On another note, while I’m looking for some lore on the Gilblins in Nazjatar, I’m gonna have this song in my head:

I’ve recently gotten the “only a few posters here spamming the thread” comments in the Ogre megathread, myself. Honestly, the activity in the Megathreads doesn’t accurately measure the entire WoW population that would like the race the Megathread is designed for, so just because theres only a few posters in a megathread doesn’t mean noone wants the race.

Soon as 8.2 goes live, I’m sure this and the Mecha Gnome Megathreads are going to be very busy with activity. ^^
