In my opinion, female goblins have the best hairstyles of any race in the game. I am eagerly awaiting female gilblins, because you just know they are going to have crazy awesome mermaid hair.
Edit: Although female mechagnomes may give goblins a run for their money in the awesome hairstyles department.
Your reactions when I have a goblin known as âGillyâ who will remain a regular goblin even if gilgoblins are addedâŚ
Thank you! I will join up a bit later. Sounds like lots of fun.
They do indeed have great hairstyles. Both the female goblin and female mechagnomes. One of the nicest things about female gnomes in my opinion is the beautiful hair designs. They do hair well with gnomes.
Theyâre not dumb enough that it would be an issue imo, though I was musing about some kind of kajacola spill in the ocean earlier xd
One thing about my name that I didnât foresee is the fact that if theyâre added, Iâm pretty much obligated to buy a race change
A KajaâCola spill? That would be an interesting turn for this. Plus I thought I recall something about Hobart Grapplehammer working on formula to produce superintelligent Gilgoblins in an earlier part of the war campaign.

Honorary Gilblin I suppose! Hope they end up using some of your ideas if it becomes an AR.
Note: This is just an image uploaded as video
To add. I really love the skin texture Gilgoblins use and tattoos. I think it looks fantastic. A lot of people say they look ugly, but I think they should really think more carefully about it. They are pretty sweet looking in my opinion.
Thinking on it some, is it possible we might get a batch of allied races in the next allied race announcement, similar to how allied races were announced when BfA was first shown off?
I feel like there may be some kerfuffle if only a pair come out and there is either Gilblins or Vulpera. Having both in an announcement would lessen that animosity in general, and would explain the time between 8.2 and whenever the next allied races would be available, since models for the new allied races would have been worked on.
Seems like it may be Blizzcon when we would get any new allied race announcements, and that is very far off. If that is the case, making several allied race announcements at once makes sense to me.
The more the merrier
While I wouldnât play one myself I fully support a race that is shown as part of the games Lore to already be on a faction in NPC status to become fully playable and yes Gilbin are shown to already be allied to the Horde in the games Lore. So you have my support make them happen.
Just the beginning too. It will be interesting to see what is it store ahead.
To 8.2 and beyond!
Gilblins will be making a big splash in the Horde in 8.2, and the wave of PTR information just leads to an ocean of possibilities!
Iâm so excited to see more, Iâve been wanting to go to Nazjatar for ages and it looks so cool so far :o
Thats another big thing. The zone as Iâve seen from the sneak peaks looks absolutely amazing. Mechagon also looks quite impressive.
canât wait to blow it up
Er, where exactly? I only ever remember seeing them as independents or working for Azsharaâs naga. Their creator, Hobart Grapplehammer, disowned them due to legal trouble back in Cataclysm.
Hobart Grapplehammer makes a statement during the earlier part of the war campaign that he is working on a formula for producing super intelligent Gilblins. This happens when you click on him after doing that quest which takes you into the deep sea. Perhaps he may have distanced himself from them at one point, but things seemed to have changed.
It is confirmed they will be helping the horde when Nazjatar comes out in an organization called âThe unshackledâ.
They took the kids
You have my support! just because they are unpopular doesnât mean they shouldnât be included, and they fit the AR trope very well.
they are also arguably a bit more unique than regular goblins
