Gilded harbinger crest how to farm?

Earning the highest tier rewards will take effort, yes.

Not just effort, but massive amounts of time down the drain as well.

Solo players don’t really “need” mythic gear. But what reason is there for solo players not to have it when higher level delves exist? I haven’t done any group content in weeks… I’ve been lazy lol.

I normally did 18-19 keys in DF each season, this season just isn’t/ wasn’t very fun to me. My luck in pugs was pretty abysmal too tbh which is why I stopped several weeks ago before they dropped the gilded to +8s. I may hop back in and knock some out for crests. I need to get back in to finish aotc anyway. Pugging that was a hellscape the first few weeks too.
Thanks for the nudge to get back in game

Yes, but you’ll always be capped at some point, either due to skill level or actual ilvl cap (639). In DF, people like the OP would have been capped at a much lower ilvl, so the fact that they can get as high as they did from delves is good for them.

They want people to engage in the Multiplayer part of a MMORPG.

As your gear goes up those 8s will start to feel like 5s did at some point

because you dont need that gear for said content. the hardest delves pale in comparison to keys or mythic raid. like delves are a joke.

like i said before 8s are pretty tame now ive had a very high success rate with them since most people are just farming them.

hope to see you out there

Down the drain ? If someone is constantly timing 10’s why would that be considered time down the drain ? lol

Players enjoying that level of content and being rewarded for it acordingly.

Make friends of similar skill with similar goals and achieve them together!

Mainly because delves simply don’t reach a comparable difficulty, the mechanical complexity is too low and the emphasis on them being soloable by all specs means there’s no opportunity to require gameplay optimisation, you can’t have DPS checks, you can’t have fights that require proper timing of CDs, you can’t have enrages, you can’t have anything that tests how well a player can execute a rotation.

I’d also like to take a moment of the topic of overlaps and ask people consider the other perspective. On one hand there’s “My items aren’t finished” which leads people to feel the need to push into content they otherwise wouldn’t, but on the other there’s “I have these crests but nothing to spend them on”. The whole goal of the crest system is to offer gradual consistent power increases week on week, if you get higher crests you don’t necessarily need to wait for higher items to drop, you likely have something you’re wearing you can use them on right now. Let’s also remember champion is equivalent to normal, and without overlaps would only be 606 ilvl.

That’s fine if you enjoy it that much. Many don’t. I find a well run challenging dungeon mildly entertaining. I’d need a lot more than “mildly entertaining” to justify the dozens of hours spent waiting for groups to form in order to build my score and knowledge up enough to even start getting useful rewards. For some the time is worth it. For me, that time would absolutely be considered time “down the drain”. The content and rewards don’t appeal to me enough to justify the investment.

Ring in patch will be a nerf to all content as it will be stronger than all existing rings. So doing m+ will be easier.
