Hey all, question.
If i(Canada) gift 60 days wow time to someone who lives and plays on EU.
Will he be able to activate and use it?
If they play on a separate version of the game, then no. We, as Canadians (myself included) play on North American realms for the most part.
If your friend plays on an EU realm and you play on an NA realm, you gifted time will not work for them. If they’re on an EU account, but play on NA or Oceanic servers, then the gifted game time would indeed apply.
I hope that makes sense as it’s a complicated topic!
wow game time is region specific, you would need to buy the game time in the eu game time shop for someone who plays on the eu version of the game. you might not be able to gift game time from the eu shop though to be honest.
However, if you shop in canada, and look for the french version of the card, that is usually a eu only game time card. those codes will work for someone on the eu account, but not for someone playing in the us version. look on the back, if it shows esrb it is us, pegi is eu.
You can gift game time from Canada to EU using the EU shop site.
Thanx alot!
Those were the answers i was looking for.
And damn that was fast! =)
