Gifting - Possible without being friends?

The GM of my previous guild gifted me a faction change about a month ago. I left the guild about a week ago and would like to reimburse him for this gift, or send him something comparable. I don’t have him on my friend’s list anymore but I know his btag. Is it possible to send him $30 worth of services without him being on my current friend’s list or knowing what his email address is?

I tried to submit a ticket but it just spins.

Try giving a shot to this ticket path:

It’s for a refund, which the purchase is likely outside of the perimeters for that. But if the gift itself can be reverted back to the purchaser, this would at least be a good starting off point.

Thank you. I submitted the ticket so we’ll see what happens.

Is it possible that you could reach out to this person and see about adding them to your friends list again? There are plenty of reasons why blizzard doesn’t allow you to send unsolicited gifts to people who aren’t on your friends list, so short of the refund working out, which I am not so sure it will given the time since you were gifted the faction change, your best bet is to add this person to friends and then gift them the intended way.

Refunds for character services tend to be fairly limited, so it is unlikely that we’d be able to refund a purchase from a different account made a month ago.

However, you can gift Battle.net Balance through the Shop as long as you know their Real ID or BattleTag if you select the Gift option.
