Gifting Faction change / blizzard balance

Hello! My guild is in the process of faction changing, and one of our members needs help, so we offered to pay for his way over. The only issue we have right now is he is canadian, and we are american.

How can we gift him the balance to do the transfer?

Can you gift him gold for a couple of tokens? Then they can convert those tokens to battle.net balance.

Otherwise, you’d need to find someone in the guild who is also Canadian and willing to gift them the balance as balance can only be gifted in the same currency.

Sadly none of us have the amount of gold it would take to cover the transfer =(. And we don’t have another Canadian in our guild to help out either.

The solution, albeit a bit expensive:

  • Each of you that has twenty dollars can buy a token’s worth of gold.
  • Gift that gold to your guildie, who then turns around and buys a token with the gold.
  • Guildie redeems the token for fifteen dollars worth of Blizzard balance.

It’s only a 75% return on your investment, but at least you can indeed pay for their transfer this way.
