Does this mean that the forums are next to useless for us to give feedback from?
It seems you’re trying to dismiss the entire forum because it’s mostly negative.

So we know the forums can work ourselves into a frenzy.
Lack of engagement and input from blizz does not help this at all.

I don’t see how allowing every single bnet to have 50 forum avatars helps this.
It seems to me it would encourage even more inflammatory posts.
This can hinder communication to a significant degree.

Seems we all need to step back and take some baby steps here.
Fixing these communication issues should be first though.
You want solid feedback. We want to give solid feedback and have a reciprocating dialogue.
I believe at the heart of all these issues is bad communication.
Appreciate your effort to change that.
Have some love just for that.

It has problems? that’s just minimizing the fact they’re around 1.2 million subs in WoW compared to the 12 million in WoLK, you can’t say that all this people grew up and moved on with their lives and that’s why they quit the game (not to mention FF14 has 14million subs mmorpg genre isn’t dead). I think we’ve all noticed the constant downgrade expansion after expansion making some good changes but also making some catastrophic mistakes and failing to acknowledge them.

All businesses and corps and entitled to make mistakes it’s a human thing to do, but what we’re seeing here not just with Blizzard thinking they know more than the player that spend 10+ hours a day playing the game and discredit them but also ignoring the player outcry for changes. We’re also seeing other game companies such as EA with Battlefield 5 and Bethesda with Fallout 76 do the same and bashing on their player base. Examples “Do you not have phones?” or “You think you do but you don’t”, “If you don’t like it, don’t buy it” quoting some of the most recent ones, which is crazy because this companies fail to remember that they’re as big as the community wants them to be without your money and my money Blizzard or any other game company wouldn’t exist.

Sadly, now days most modern companies base all their changes on bots and their metrics to cut resources and maximize earnings, this makes games completely stale with no fun twists because you can’t metric how “fun” something is unless you experience it, this only shows what’s been said before about Blizzard being out of touch and this happens when you don’t play your own games. Clear case loot box system, RNG gearing and Master Loot. I think we as a community have been very outspoken about RNG gearing and how frustrating it is not to mention titanforging. Except Ion Hazzikostas which is one of the few that believes getting repeated items from chests it’s exiting.

Before my departure I’d like to share this:

This is something other companies should take note, we need more like CD Projekt Red.
Side note: BRING BACK PVP VENDORS!

There is no rng with azerite gear any more, except for the ones from world quests. The mythic plus vendor solved all those problems.

I can’t go into details since it’s against TOS but it was a very similar tone to this. Just be careful, the mods in this new forum are ruthless.

Oh and he is forgetting to mention the trade off for this new system. How long will it take to target random azerite piece at level again? How much longer to target specific? If it takes so long that randomly getting it is just as fast, what is the difference?
