Every minute, and sometimes more than once a minute, I’m getting emails from Blizzard Entertainment with a security code that I’ve requested when I haven’t requested one. I’ve been browsing the forums at work but that was it.
Should I be concerned somebody is trying to break in to my account?
Do you have an authenticator attached to your account? If the answer is no I would say I would be concerned.
If the answer is yes I would be mildly concerned but know that I am protected.
You can always open a ticket on the forums here. Upper right I think it is and ask if anybsuspecious activity is occurring.
A blue might possibly be able to take a peak as well if their workload and time permits.
Either way, when you get home I would run a full scan on your system and change all of your passwords from a different source, such as your phone in cellular network just to be safe.
Depends, Linja. If they have your email - they could be trying to change it - but won’t get very far without more info, especially if you have an authenticator.
You are certain these are from us? Phishes often take the form of that sort of thing.
Could also be a security trigger from our end if the system doesn’t recognize your location, but that most often locks an account and all you need to do is a password change.
