Getting Silenced on Classic removes your ability to use LFG tool?

So basically got hit with a 7d Silence for telling too many people off who deserved it with their actions. But to attach the LFG tool to what the Silence affects is absolutely a bit too far, how the hell does blizzard expect people to get geared for the first phase of content if they get silenced?

Anyone agree that the silence is a bit too far reaching if it affects your ability to do ANY dungeon content?

Oh no! The consequences of my actions!

You ran your mouth, you’re going to get action. Blizzard is reasonable to limit actions someone can do to teach them a lesson on it. If that means being unable to use a given tool, then you’d learn how to handle yourself down the line next time to avoid such.

Deserved it or not, it doesn’t mean you can ignore the rules.

I’d say the fact that you are complaining about it, and you see how breaking the rules can effect you, it’s a pretty good punishment. You aren’t supposed to be “accepting” of the punishment. It’s meant to deter future behavior.

Probably should’ve considered that before “telling people off”. Your actions, your consequences.

You can still do dungeons. You simply can’t post for a group in the LFG tool.

And as I said above, seems like a great deterrent in your situation.

If the language in this post is any indication of what the chat was like it was definitely deserved. I would edit that word out FYI, this is a heavily moderated forum.

well, the next thing you receive if you keep up your chat is a suspension. sounds like you probably needed one the first time around. so maybe be thankful you can play at all?

I mean i could care less if i could play or not. i share a Bnet with someone else

You can go to the dungeon, enter it normally, and continue. Hop on Discord with a few guildies, and go ham.

Again, you can. You just want to whine and stomp your feet.

And apparently, continue to disregard the rules you agreed to follow, which got you in this situation to begin with.

Wow. You’re just a model of rule breaking, aren’t you? I’d be prepared to say bye bye to that account, if I were you.

…are you asking to get banned? Because this is how you do it.

And I’m sure that whomever the account owner is, they’ll be so happy with you that you got their account banned. /s

…there are two accounts on this bnet and bliz knows two users use it

it was blizz that set it up that way

Unless it’s your parent or legal guardian and you’re under 18, it’s not allowed. Period.

You’d better hope that other user is your parent or guardian, or a minor that you are guardian to.

Either way, I’ll bet they wouldn’t like to have their account in trouble because of your actions

Actually he is my father and ive shared Bnet with him since original TBC launch

they could care less, they are also at fault too

Okay, and are you under 18? If so, then fine, but as soon as you’re 18, you will need your own BNet. Period.

Unless you were 4 when that account started, you are now an adult. You need to contact Blizzard and have them split your account to your own B.net.

You and your father are adults, and cannot share the account.

Im 26, and honestly ive contacted blizz about it and they baically wont do it

Then there’s more to the story here. No matter what, two adults, even father/son, are not allowed on the same B.net account.
