Topic - My guild cleared BWL this week with very little problems. I play a Holy Priest and had intentions of obtaining the Champion’s Set for PvP as Shadow. Is it still worth it? The grind is insane.
it was not worth if you had t1 gear
unless specific pieces for specific classes that are bis till p4

On alliance side the grind is super annoying. Unless you can get into a good WSG premade. You can get honor from AV but only if you have 18-20 hours a day.

Your a priest find a good wsg premade you enjoy playing with.
If you can’t find it I don’t think I’d bother personally. Solo queuing ranking is miserable.
I have access to some WSG premades on my server, but is the gear worth obtaining at this point, with my guild having BWL on farm?
Idk what the itemization is like for priests, but i assume the tier gear is mostly healing gear.
So if you want to play shadow for pvp then you might want to work on the pvp set
I need it for prebis so yeah, if your geared then no
Imo, it was never worth it. Go to 3 for the discount+trinket. Go to 6? For the potions. Go to 11 for the ponies. Or go to 13/14 for the armor/weapons.
No other ranks are worth bothering to try for from a time investment vs payoff perspective.

at a minimum get the 2 piece i would say. the set bonus is decent and worth
r10 is pretty brutal imo
i finished r10 today and im so ready to be done

For PvE purposes, Rank 10 is most worthwhile for classes / specs that don’t have a tier set, like dps warriors, shadow priests, etc.

Yeah, I think Feral Druids benefit quite a bit too from the set… I guess it sounds like the set is still worth obtaining if you’re willing to grind out Rank 10.

Depends on class/spec. Not going for rank 10 as a Hpal, I heal in pvp and t2 is way better imo
Pretty sure I’ve achieved R10 today and all I got to say is the time commitment has been brutal. All for a stinkin’ blue set that isn’t all that great but is the only coherent post-60 set available to a feral druid. Pretty much 6 hours an evening and 14 hours a day on weekends since Christmas. That’s the sad thing; it isn’t really a measurement of pvp skill as much as a measurement of how much one is willing to allow your real life to degrade.

I’m playing the long game. I’m rank 8 maybe 9 today, but i plan on getting 12/13/14 in 2/3 months months. It will get easier. also helps on a pve server
rank 10 gear is below mc gear so no its not worth that grind if you raid.how ever the wsg and ab epic gear looks pretty good much better then the rank 10 gear.i would grind for wsg rep.
if you dont raid its all you got.
It’s worth it if you don’t raid, but raiding is easy so…

Rank 10 is easy. It is also 100% worth it for shadow priest. better go for 13 though
