Hey guys, I’m getting put on TRT and thus gonna become jacked. Can everyone post their bench for me?
Cheers

What happens when you lose your job and health insurance and end up a flabby, bald, hormonally castrated version of yourself?
j/k but kinda not as this is the kind of stuff I think about when tempted to cheat the system (nature in this case)
Alrighy alright, no need to flex your testosterone on me
Pre trt I was 145 with a 225 max bench. 3 months into trt I’m 160 and my max bench is 315.
One of my college roommates / teammates abused testosterone amid many other PEDs and has essentially chemically castrated himself.
I mean, he could bench about 100 pounds more than me, but at 550 vs 420 does it really matter anymore?
I have kids and my balls aren’t the size of raisins.
At the expense of permanent flaccidity. Good trade there Lil Floppy. But hey, at least your bros @ the gym might be impressed and then you all can tongue each other’s bholes in the locker room!
That’s actually backward, high t makes you rock-hard. I had the testosterone level of an 80-year-old man. I couldn’t get it up anymore for my beautiful wife and nothing in the world brought me happiness. Now we’re going at it like 17-year-olds, and my depression issues are completely gone. It’s almost like you have no idea what you’re talking about.
You’re probably thinking of things like Deca, or Tren. Those are not the same as a doctor prescribing you test to put you into a normal range, and then monitoring your blood work to ensure you stay there.
weird way to spell Cheetos
Me thinks ur confused! TRT isn’t the same as being on roids. All it does is make you normal.
Tell you what - if I was speaking from an uninformed position and just flat out wrong, I’ll own that ignorance and say my bad.
Can’t say fairer than that, cheers!
What are you taking? Please elaborate.
Thee thing about testosterone is there is so much to it that is never taken into account by physicians who prescribe it. Just for starters there are:
So you can go into a doctors office, get checked, have “low T” but normal/high “free T”, or high testosterone sensitivity due to more receptors, or just a bad nights sleep, or get tested at a bad time of day, etc. and get put on TRT when you really didn’t need it.
It’s why so many UFC fighters were able to get prescriptions for it (prior to it’s ban-because it’s really easy to be in the “low” range) when they clearly didn’t need it and it made them way better fighters. It didn’t “normalize” them, it supercharged them because they were receiving a super-physiological dose of testosterone that technicaly raised their level into the high/normal range but due to their own physiology and number of testosterone receptors made them get an exaggerated benefit from it compared to someone who was at that level naturally.
Ultimately everyone has to decide what’s right for them and I am not knocking anyone who is on TRT, but you can’t deny many physicians hand this stuff out like it’s candy without taking a deep dive into what’s really going on. Also really weird morning rant for the arena forums even for myself I must say.
225x5 is what im workin w
Especially telemedicine clinics. Most of them will tell you they will prescribe TRT regardless of your numbers. As long as you have symptoms. It’s a drug that can and will be abused just like any other. But for those of us that need it, it’s a life-changer.
Is this a serious question?
Oh, and of course, it shouldn’t be allowed in comp. Even if you’re doctor keeps you in the normal range, TRT 800 NDL is way better than a natty 800 NDL.
Just don’t abuse it. It can definitely cause heart problems if you do. There are times where I’ll skip a dose because I feel like my heart is working too hard.
Yea my doctor and I are comfortable with the 800-900 range, which makes me feel great and I have no negative sides effects. I’m perfectly happy staying in the normal range.
