It’s not a perfect system and it sucks if you legit did nothing and got kicked for basically no reason. If it’s any consolation, these types of players don’t tend to succeed much in end game content.
- There’s always a reason. You just may not like it.
- I haven’t been kicked, nor seen a kick in quite a while.
No. Sounds like someone saw your damage was low because your weapon was broken, so they kicked you.
Because his vote won’t count, since you two queued together. It’s done that way on purpose so that two people can’t force a group to keep someone in it.
Please learn what bullying actually is. You being removed from a group, because people voted to do so isn’t bullying.
That right there is sus to me. You dont break your grear in just a few wipes. And how do you wipe on a TW boss?
When you noticed your gear was broken did you say something in chat?
I find sometimes just airing out the reason goes a long way to staying fine.
I’m OCE’ain and sometimes if I’m tank in timewalking I’ll be marginally slower to load in because of the latency difference. Usually saying it to the group if it feels like there are some angsty folk resolves the issue.
I get lost in LFD dungeons a lot and if I chat that I’m lost people generally tend to be more patient with me bumping my way around, I’ve noticed.
Anything that’s older than WoD feels a bit like that (for me)
I’m sorry this happened, hope you don’t have to deal with it again.
If you’ve been kicked more than once, then there is a reason for it. I have leveled over 60 characters across two accounts to max level and I never quest. I do it all via dungeon spam. And in all those dungeons, I’ve yet to see a vote kick that was not deserved.
Either somebody was afk, being toxic, or from a DC.
It’s possible that you’re so bad at the game, people think you’re afk. Your husband is not getting kicked, it’s always you. Maybe it’s time to look in the mirror to figure out what the issue is.
You got kicked because you deserved it.
You remind me of Hasan when you talk like that
Kicked while in combat you say…
There is absolutely no reason to remove someone from a timewalking if they are actively participating.
Timewalking dungeons are a place for people to learn their rotations and get used to playing their characters in a group setting.
If someone is DC’d or obviously afk, then it’s ok to kick.
But don’t kick someone who is actually trying
Goodbye troll lol
I was just going to link something, but Sendryn bet me too it.
Eh, people can usually tell someone who is participating but bad vs afk.
The issues start when the entire group is also bad and therefore they start running into issues and looking for someone to blame.
And given OP stated they already wiped before this, that was definitely the case in that group.
I’m sure OP was a problem with low DPS, partially due to broken weapon(s). But if it was a competent group otherwise they likely wouldn’t bother to do anything about it, they’d just finish.
This is also why some folks claim to barely ever see kicks happen while others are constantly complaining about it.
If you’re bad, it’s just RNG if you get into a group with other bads or not, and things get gross if you do.
If you’re good, you’re likely preventing your groups from getting to that point, even if the others in the group are bad.
I was kicked out of a timewalking dungeon couple of weeks ago, though, I sort of deserved it when I decided to macro my Chaos Bolt with train emote
Just trying to have fun in different ways. But the party leader from the dungeon whispered me later and explained to me, and said it was funny at the start, but got annoying pretty quickly.
You can be honest and say that you definitely deserved it. We friends here.
I wiped a couple times on that orc/gobbo duo boss in that train dungeon because the orc didn’t get directed into running into the boxes the gobbo was on. So the gobbo just constantly rains down massive damage on the entire party. If there’s no cheese characters in the group, it’s pretty easy to wipe on that one.
Part of personal responsibility in group content is making sure you enter 100% prepared. Dying twice will not break your weapons, which means you weren’t paying attention to your gear durability before joining.
Dying and poor output means you’re a negative contribution to the party compared to someone who will stay alive and do average output.
The kick is valid.
