Basically, title. I have a guild that I throw all my stuff. I don’t really know people enough to trust adding them to my guild and getting them to add my alts. Would GMs be able to assist with this?
Pretty sure the answer is no but there mite be a few people here that mite be willing to help and leave the guild once the toons are invited.
Can you alts apply through the guild finder and then you add them on your main?
I think they have to be online for that to work tho i could be wrong.
Cleaning up old posts!
Open your guild for applications in Guild Finder and place a note for personal characters only. Log in to the characters you want to invite, and have them submit an application. Then, log back in to the Guild Master character and accept those applications. Once completed, remove your guild from the guild finder, and go from there. I’ve done this on several occasions.
Also can confirm that you can post a recruitment listing and have your alts apply - then switch back to GM to accept the application.
For cross faction invites, they need to be members of the same Community first.
That is how I invited my cross faction alts into my personal guilds.
I created a lvl 1 toon on velen and as long as i can join ur guild on a lvl 1 toon im willing to help.
me I just do it the old way. I have a starter account with a guild member in it. When I make a new alt I open up both accounts in separate windows and invite and accept then close the starter account.
No, I’m afraid not, Elharielle. Game Masters are generally unable to assist directly with guild management.
However, I believe the advice the others provided should allow you to do that yourself by using the Guild Recruitment tool. Good luck.
Can confirm this works, I did it myself for my dracthyr.
You can use guild finder to do this. Apply on your alts, invite on gm, accept invite
You cannot invite your on alts if they are on the same WoW license. You have to do it the way I posted earlier in this thread.
I have 2 accounts.
I am always inviting my alts to my personal guild.
Log into Account 1 which has the character doing the invite.
Log into Account 2 with the character to be invited.
Account 1 invites Account 2…works every time.
I might also add that Account 1 is only Alliance and Account 2 is only Horde. My Personal Guild is Cross Faction.
You can invite from the same license just fine.
I have moved my characters into and out of my personal guilds on this license without issue.
Though, I did make sure they were in my Community group first. That way I didn’t have issues joining opposite faction guilds.
I mostly just did it to move around certain alts who had acquired legendaries that my other guilds didn’t have the achievements for yet.
That’s why I stated that you could only do it the way I listed earlier in the thread.
