Wow you guys are starting to get really hard up for business. Your advertising and emails have been becoming more and more aggressive or the last little while. Heres a tip start caring about the game(put out something of actual quality) and customer and people will come back. Continue down the road you guys are going where you only care about money and more and more will leave as they have had enough. I for one would not recommend this game in its current state to anyone. Do you know how many people I know that as soon as something half decent comes out they are done with game? Way too many.
Not spending a dime on race changes until y’all unlock allied races by default.

They announced that sales were down, while retention of those who had bought was better than during Shadowlands. This means next to nothing to us.
My feeling is that continuing offers like the current services sale are intended to improve retention, not bring back players who have left or bring in new players. The free trial last month was intended to sell Dragonflight to previous players who had not bought it, but it was badly designed and/or tested.
What I heard was that they were very surprised at low sales, which undoubtedly became obvious early in the prepurchase period. Hype always sold big numbers before. But I also think that aside from those who in general felt burned by Shadowlands, there were also a lot of casuals who thought about the casual content in Season 4 and what was coming and decided there would be nothing interesting to do.
We are still seeing people say they are leaving because they are bored. I don’t think anyone at Blizzard is capable of observing different player demographics and how changes affect them.

I am praying to the Loa for a holiday character services discount being announced later today or next week. I ALWAYS regret my expansion boosts. I want to faction-change my TWW one.
