If that was directed at me, I was one of the thousands of people who WANTED the dungeon finder, it was the “Majority” (like 30% of the community) that didn’t want it…
I was honestly making a joke to be honest. It just seems like those are the things blizzard is doing.
If you remember the death sticks scene in star wars episode 2, that was what I was trying to reference.
Blizzard wants us to buy tokens and levels. But they don’t want us to have dungeon finder. They are telling us that we don’t want dungeon finder, even though alot of people do.
People are saying that they hate level boosts and wow tokens. Blizzard is telling us, like, No, you love that. You really do. Even though it does seem like majority did not want level boosts or wow tokens in wow classic.
RiP in Peace retail progression realms
You deserve it
Rest in peace in Peace… that’s all I have to say right now
Third word is wrong
Thanks for ruining the remainder of classic WOTLK Blizzard. You guys stated you would not include this crap in the classic versions and I hold people to their word. The developers have been great by improving on the classic versions, but corporate decision making is trash as always.
IDC if people are already buying gold already for GDKPs, this just makes it easier for everyone to pay to win. Buying gold holds people at risk and is not intended for classic since it should solely be based on the player economy. Keep your garbage retail corruption out of classic.
But hey, no Rdf. Promises made, promises kept.
no he wasnt he was the start of the ship sinking lol
there’s your problem.
They’ve been going back on their word since classic. And if you didn’t see this coming from a mile away I don’t know what to tell you.
The only surprise for me was the way they ninja implemented it without giving any warning ahead of time.
But I suppose that’s blizzard’s MO now.
No RDF was the worst “promise” they made… so of course they kept it.
I have had very little trust with Blizzard over the years and of course I expect this stuff to happen, but this isn’t my problem, it’s Blizzard’s problem. The only way to make change, even if it has a low chance, is to say something about it. I am helping the community like you are and calling it out.
I agree with you, I just don’t think they care… they are capricious when it comes to keeping their “promises”.
It has been 1366days since Classic WoW came out, 562days is my /played. I definitely love this game, the community and the feeling of progressing my character.
Gold is big part of the game and its sad how much Blizzard let the bots thrive and made the economy suffer. But until yesterday buying gold even though commonly encountered was still considered against the tos, there for cheating.
Unfortunately today gold buying is pretty much encouraged and fully supported by Blizzard.
One of the most beautiful things about World of Warcraft was the fact that no matter what part of the world, what kind of a job or finances you have everyone is on an even ground in WoW and what made the difference was the way you played the game. That is not the case anymore. Little Billy can now legally buy whatever item in the game just by swiping daddy’s credit card.
If i wanted the p2w experience there is already bunch of other MMOS out there including retail. I am paying you a monthly subscription fee in order to not have to worry about microtransactions or in-game currency shops.
For many of your players farming gold is part of the game, I spent so many hours myself, for some its even the main reason they play.
Just shows how little you understand your player base.
You promised no token in wow classic, you broke that promise.
I have unsubscribed both of my accounts,
I am a wow player not payer.
So disappointed, Blizzard. Just so unbelievably disappointed. My sub will be gone if this is not reversed, and I will find other ways to spend my time and money. Was considering buying D4, but it’s a hard pass for sure. Repeatedly spitting on your fans is going to catch up to you faster than you think.
Glad I saw this before I bit the bullet on the D4 purchase. Unsubbed.
Great, more pay to win options …
Shame on you. I hope the developers responsible for allowing this to happen came into work today with that sinking feeling that they’ve made a terrible mistake.
How hard is it to recreate the experience of a past expansion? You literally have the data, the technology, the resources, but clearly none of the common sense.
WoW Classic and Wrath of the Lich King Classic were meant to be museums.
You promised that the WoW Token would never happen. How dare you lie to us.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but tokens weren’t the first broken promise.
I honestly don’t understand how anyone can be surprised by this.
They’re out to make $$$, not to cater to players.
What does it matter if it was the first or the last promise to be broken?
The simple fact that a promise has been broken at all is enough for pitchforks.
I fail to see how anything they did with DF is positive.
