Because they said when they announced wotlk classic it wouldn’t be in it, still have no clue why people think they will add it.

What?? Why would they do this?? The wotlk classic economy is already ruined as it is because of the bot rampage and now you add in the token?? Blizzard can you for once think before you make decisions?
Well, I was expecting a cross-realm group finder at this point out of the current one, not the automated one though. We know it works for arenas, so…
But anyways, nobody does dungeons outside of the first month of a season.
Been answered a few times already but - money.
They did, and they thought it made a lot of cents … and dollars.
From their perspective, they know the classic franchise has all but run its natural course. Growing the subscriber base is a high cost high risk strategy at this point. Their aim is to get the enthusiasts still playing it to pay them more money.
Classic was always an opportunistic cash grab for Blizzard. They didn’t think it would succeed but hoped it would be a low effort way of pulling back a few older gamers into paying a sub. Now it’s run its course they’re looking to monetize raid logging in classic. Makes a lot of business sense.

Blizzard, this is evil. Servers like Skyfury were choked out and groomed for transfers to GDKP servers, and why we lost so many guilds and players - greed, RMT driven greed. Blizzard corralled players into unhealthy GDKP servers, where even free-transfer players are encouraged to buy wowtokens for gold to compete in GDKP’s
This is insane - the betrayal and capitalistic savagery being committed against the playbase and the spirit of Classic is horrifying and blatantly hostile.

I mean, I will be real. I am not a fan of dungeon finder being added. But I won’t quit if it does happen either.
I think rdf would only happen if they could find a way to monotize off of it. I honestly feel like the wow tokens could monotize classic wows future to, especially for the versions that are not relevant anymore. Such as vanilla wow, which already has a permanent version, and burning crusade, which does not have one. Vanilla wow server just is not making money off of itself as is.
I mean, that is unfortunately what it is all about now. Not player experience. You have to create that yourself. All about money now.
I remember being bummed, as a horde, because doing deadmines is a pain otherwise. I always have a solution. I was able to get several runs through from a friend. So it worked.

PPL keep making the mistake of overencompassing classic with vanilla, BC, Wrath.
Classic is just vanilla. Retail begins with BC.
Blizzard has been really slimy outside of retail.
Attacking COD modders, never even attempting pve in overwatch2 just lying about it to impliment a battlepass and now dropping this.

Lets go authentic. Its no rush for me. I have a planned summer lapse anyway lol. By mere chance sub lapses right before I hop on a plane to be off game grid for a few weeks anyway lol. I’d not pay for June/July play I’d not even have.

This is the new model of gaming, micro transactions, in game shops. The old days of gaming are gone forever. We were silly to think that we could return to the past. They don’t want the old time gamer. They are marketing to the new generations of gamers.
Its working obviously because every game with a multiplayer online aspect has additional in game purchase options.
Just solidifies my decision to move on from all gaming after wrath is done. May not even last that long for me idk. It is what it is, the cabal always wins.
