It’s about time.
I am at well over goldcap farmed through the auctionhouse over both expansions and I can tell you all that the introduction of wow token will hurt the people with low amounts of gold the most as every item in the game will go up to prices they cant afford anymore.
What… Consumes / repairs cost maybe 100g a week.
I think saying everyone buys gold is an over generalization. Because not everyone does lol.
But A few of my friends are at gold cap. All from buying gold in fact. Kind of crazy.
I of course, refuse to buy gold. Not from blizzard or from anyone, or anywhere. I earn my gold. By playing the game. But at least now this is endorsed from blizzard, and not some 3rd party website at the very least.
I do feel like saying everyone buys gold isn’t true. Just like saying everyone buys tokens in retail or gold in retail. Because not everyone does lol. There are people who actually enjoy playing the game.

Was the shop integrated in game before this? Or was that also added as part of adding the token?
A very slimmed version of the shop iirc is in wrath and classic era currently for game services.
You should be able to see it on the character select screen

Can we remove gold and just add everything for free on a vendor I feel that would be more convenient. Oh you mean convenient to make money out of it. So selling the solution to a problem you created. Good ol capitalism.

I went to the theatre the other day, so plenty of popcorn to munch on.
Saw guardians of the galaxy 3. Was pretty amazing.
Now I am watching world of warcraft: Wrath of the wow token.

I just hit 70 and most low level mats were already too expensive. This will do nothing to that but actually allow people to but stuff if they want to
not yet but later on it will filter out poor people and almost force them to swipe for token gold else they cant pay for anything for the most part. Just wait
