Right now consumables are pretty cheap. I am talking like tbc levels of prices again. Maybe it wont happen but who cares anyway at this point.
Pretty sure the “death of the classic trilogy” came around as soon as they allowed folks to pay for premium content that provided level boosts. So it has already been ended.
But, wrath of the lich king exists. I am counting my blessings.

It is funny to hear about this company lacking integrity (while true), when its player base has even less, and that is not just my 3-ex guild leads (also true). Face it, this was never going to work, as much as we wanted to. If Blizz would not screw it up, the players would, and have. As soon as the HRs, GDKPs, LCs, boosts, and the rest of this $%@& started, it was over. This, why this is nothing new. If anything it will help with the farmer bots a bit. Be glad you had enough self respect not to spend any real cash on it already, or try to lord your fake achievement/parse over those you screwed out of loot, because they would not be impressed with you one bit, I can tell you. As for me, I had my bags packed in TBC, only coming back for holiday stuff and maybe to level yet another alt, and quit on cap. More enjoyable, more meaningful, and more honest. You have to use those tokens on something, or maybe you don’t.

Thank god you did this. I was worried my classic experience would be ruined with RDF potentially being added in (like it was in the original version) but no, you only added the WoW token from retail. Thank you.

You have to make up for the hemorrhaged subscriptions due to no RDF somehow, I suppose. I hope next month brings it to fruition when ToC is released.

I am also talking about completely new people. They just pick up a profession and play the game. Though I doubt there is a huge influx of new people joining Wrath Classic atm.
Well I guess the time had to come sooner or later. Was really hoping I would get to finish Wrath but guess that’s not in the cards. It was a decent run while it lasted.

See retail skill training. Its free. some classic zealots will go on for hours of the immersion of walking back to a town to pay 25 gold for a skill upgrade in the 70+ range. Cheaper prices for lower levels ofc.
I…personally liked retails approach better. I don’t see the whole but you get a new skill every few levels.

I never understood why buying skills and what not was such a big deal lol. I miss buying ammo to on hunters. I actually felt like a hunter. Especially with the quivers, which are gone in retail in terms of the graphic that showd on your back. The nerubian reinforced one looked so cool.

It’s obvious not everybody buys gold. I don’t get why people don’t get it. For every token that someone buys there is someone selling their gold. I had so much gold in retail that I didn’t know what to do with that I sold enough for 7 months free game time. And I didn’t need the free sub. $15 a month is meaningless, it’s significantly less than I pay for a coffee a day for a month. Clearly if I’m selling gold because I have too much of it I’m not buying it too.
People are annoyed at way more stuff and want more convenience than back then. But there is often a cost to the player experience to have too much convenience as inconvenients were made as a way for players to find the solution. You should plan your leveling path better with your heartstone usage if skill training is that bad for you.
You ppl just don’t find this 71-talent system fun enough that you are willing to quit the game over it.
If all you were interested in was the economical part of the game, then you were never really Wrath enthusiasts to begin with.
I was foaming at the mouth with the no RDF announcement, but I wasn’t about to miss out on the rest of game over it.
I hear ya. Why I want pvp weapons. Till I can get a raid break…I use nessingwary. that means shot pouch. That I can’t see.
I’d love a nice 80 bow to get that quiver lol. One of the +1’s classic was seeing hunter’s use quivers.
and…my night elf uses a damned rifle. I can’t catch a break here lol.

Probably obvious… bots are out of control and they didn’t want bots to sell accounts with Diablo 4 on it across the board.
