I’m having the same issue. My sub just reupped in Jan. I’m not entirely upset unless Feb 11th comes and I still don’t have it.

Check at the top of your launcher to see if you have a gift notification. My 6-month sub ends February 28th, and that’s where I was able to claim the mount.

Did you actually read the article or just the headline? You seem clueless that it’s only in burning Crusade classic that they get the Swift spectral tiger
But I wonder, till when is the offer valid? I mean, atm I’m on a 3 months sub, since I play wow consistently would be more efficient to get a 6 months sub than buying the mount from the shop, but prefer not to pay a lot of money immediately again.
They say it must be redeemed by the 31st august, but does it mean you can example get a 6 months sub in august and get it?
Even so, seems kinda special, when you compare to the eu and us tbc servers!
I refuse to pay 6 months up front for any subscription service. Freebie or no.

I didn’t mean to touch a nerve, I was genuinely asking.
So in answer to your question, there’s nothing wrong with wanting more cultural representation.
The Lunar Festival is based on another culture and Blizzard was smart enough to take that calendar and make mounts based on it.
Brewfest is based on another culture and has mounts.
Day of the Dead is based on another culture and has a pet.
Off the top of my head there are no in game world events based on any South American, African, Indian, or any other specific RL countries and their various cultures other than the ones I listed. I’d love it if there were. I’m for celebrating all holidays in-game and in RL!
More holidays = more shared experiences = more understanding = more fun = more food = more love!

All hail the almighty Far East culture! Not only do they get an additional free mount, but it seems like all the most recent mounts have been Chinese-themed. How about showing a little bit more love to other countries’ players? There are other things to base new mounts off of, Blizzard. This particular culture has been forced on us long enough. A few mounts and an annual festival is fine, but every time we turn around? GET CREATIVE! Lets see some new ones, like maybe some central / south American themed mount, or maybe some multi-seat mounts for the 6-month subs? Hell, turn a wind serpent into a mount, it’s pretty much based off Quetzalcoatl anyhow?
It’s a water-based tiger mount which goes with the calendar.
Give us a good game and we will think about a six months sub but for now it is goodbye
