The article says if there is trouble collecting the “Imp in a Ball” to read the support article but the support article doesn’t give any indication how to solve the problem. It simply says you can’t collect the Imp through gift redemption.
So exactly how are you supposed to get the Imp? Landro in BB is not offering a quest and neither are inn keepers.

Otherwise, it should be showing up in TBC Classic (not in retail) when you go to Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.
Nothing shows up in the web page, going to Landro and starting the conversation he simply says “Never Mind”. This is in TBC Classic.
You get it from a quest you get from innkeepers in major cities I believe. I got one on my belf from the wayfarer’s rest innkeeper. You only go to Landro if you’ve lost it.
If they’re paying you, I want in.

Would not shock me if Blizzard is threatening to dox dissidents to be completely honest. Hell I would fully expect them to force the forums to use battle tags just so people harass you over battle tag based on how you spoke on the forums of the game. Of course they’d say they don’t want any harassment done, but they’d push forward. Was exactly what they did with Diablo 3.

For the TBC Collector’s stuff? It’s definitely on Innkeepers if you bought the collector’s edition. Lot of people in my guild collected theirs from Orgrimmar, so you probably will find yours in Ironforge or Stormwind, whatever your major city in Vanilla is. Last I knew it was Ironforge because it was the only city with an auction house pre 1.9.
So she never got the quest on her higher level characters, but when she created a new Drenai now the Exodor inn keeper offers the quest. The character she was trying to get it on was a transfer from classic, but the character she got it on was created fresh on TBC.
That’s strange. Since my guildies had it on their toons that were Classic characters they moved over. Maybe it like didn’t detect if she cloned? Really bizarre, I would ticket a few times on that actually. Usually if you ticket once it’s an automated response saying “we can’t do anything blah blah then telling you to go to the innkeeper” After a few times you speak to an actual human who can process what you’re saying and your issue.
As far as I know it is account wide meaning all of your characters can do the quest.
It looks like her original high level character had the imp from when she purchased the Deluxe Edition but her new Drenai got the quest.
If I subscribe for 6 months then take a months break, switch to cards etc, will I still be able to use the mount, or will it work only if i’m subscribed for 6 months?
