If people want to do that it is their choice, Blizzard doesn’t have to cater around that and could be held liable if they did encourage that attitude.
Saying “Blizzard won’t allow me to play 8 hours a day for 1 month during my summer break” is just a silly thing to say.

considering ‘summer’ runs from June 21 to Sept 23, it technically does launch in ‘summer’.
Not everything revolves around what many of us consider ‘summer’ as in when the kids are out of school for summer vacation - generally early june to labor day.
So you would consider Classic being out for the last 3 weeks of summer, on a technicality btw, as a “Classic Summer?”
Yes. I would. It falls into the correct season implied. With time left to play. And it’s four weeks, not three.

It does help that I have not been around school aged kids in like 20 years lol. I don’t think of summer as summer vacation anymore.
I guess we just disagree then. I don’t see how you can brand the entire season like that if the game comes out only at the tail end. To me “Classic Summer” implies that I will be able to play Classic for most, if not all, of the season.
Yeah that’s closer to “have a classic autumn”.
