Nice.

Any news for Shamans? 20 years and the best thing we got is ONE new ghost form in the raptor and a new model for the wolf.

Especially considering that the female-coded model still has two fewer skins. Thereā€™s a very distinct cobalt one and (IIRC) a sort of turquoise one that are missing. Also: we still need a true black hair color, upgraded hair textures, some more short/braided/textured styles, maybe a new horn style or two, and scars.

So, Warlocks continue to enslave different types of Manā€™ari Eredar, yet Hunters still canā€™t tame feral worgen? >:(

I miss my feral worgen so much. He was my favorite pet on my night elven huntress, even though it was an exploit.

Please let us tame feral worgen, since warlocks can have Manā€™ari as pets.

Yeah, I donā€™t see Blizzard ever allowing that back into the game. It was very cool and unique, so hopefully they do something similar in the future.

Make an announcement when you actually bother to give every race a drop-down for scars

Can I has your golds?

Red skin is already in the live game. You have to compete a quest to unlock it and any character, irrespective of race, can compete it to unlock the customizations account-wide.

They do need to be level 70, FWIW. Should be a purple triangle quest in your capital somewhere. Ally itā€™s outside Stormwind Keep.

give us fat goblin options like the one goblin on load screen

That was Bobby Kotick, heā€™s gone now.

Stop advertising 6 total character customization options as a patch feature. Itā€™s not a patch feature.

Demons get new options while demon hunters meta is the same. Nice.

Weā€™re getting so close to being able to do epililogs and freeing gilnayus

This. So much this. They put all that effort into giving most races and a few classes new customizations in SL, and now every minor patch is them throwing us table scraps while having to pretend theyā€™re something people will get excited over. Just skin, hair, and occasionally eye colors. Druids got a bunch of new forms in 10.2, but thatā€™s the extent of it.

  • Mages still donā€™t have elemental customizations in the barber.
  • Shamans still donā€™t have elemental or Ghost Wolf customizations in the barber.
  • DKs still donā€™t have ghoul customizations in the barber.
  • Male orcs and Magā€™har still donā€™t have eyebrow options.
  • Male trolls and undead still donā€™t have facial hair options.
  • Magā€™har still use low-quality skin textures that werenā€™t updated from their NPCs in WoD.
  • Vulpera still only have an on/off toggle for earrings.
  • Several races have yet to get any new hairstyles in SL or DF. Void elf players are the most vocal about this, especially the high elf side, but Magā€™har, Kul Tirans, and mechagnomes can attest as well.

And no allied race, whatsoever, has distinct death knight skins; and the female-coded Kul Tiran model has only the most minimal of facial animations.

Thereā€™s a lot of stupid decisions they make for customization. Why is it that most races get an option for scars, but humans facial scars are tied to their skin color?

Yep.

I like customizations.

But drip feeding the laziest possible customizations out there - literally an RGB slider adjustment - for one, maybe two races at a time (and not even equally, at that!) is beyond ridiculous. Most people would be willing to wait a while longer if it meant all races - especially those who have barely anything, like KTs, Vulpera, etc. - get not just hair/eye/skin colors, but entire new hairstyle options, racial sharing between base model and Allied model, new dropdowns, fixes to old unloved textures and faces, more face styles, eyebrow options, fur patterns, etc.

Itā€™d be stuff to get excited about. Stuff for everyone. A big, huge sweep of customizations that bring less loved races up to speed and address long-desired options for the more established races! I cannot imagine why people would prefer this awful, sad drip-feed over that.

Yeah definitely want that.
So many alts could absolutely rock that skin tone.

Also Beards for all races and Tusk Color options for Trolls.

And Druids of the Flame customization (Other than Druid Forms.) for Night Elves (Or Allied Race, Iā€™ll take either.).
