A bit disapointing that the hyped updates hinted at more than just a skin color for Draenei, a single skin color is a nice update if you just do it out of the blue, but hyping upcoming changes for it leads to the current disapointment

Can you bring back water elemental as a pet back to frost mages since observer was brought back to warlocks?

You miss the point completely with the Void Elves. They are copy-pastes and simple colorization jobs. The hardest thing to do was to script the “remove tentacle”-option.
Void Elves are the poster child for the lowest effort put into a race, because the skins were copypasted and the hair colorizations a simple colorization wheel job. Vulpera aren’t nearly comparable in the slightest, because they demand far more work.

But like… Blizzard has heaps of customization requests and differences between races that don’t make sense… Like some having tattoos and warpaint and others having nothing or scars being baked into some faces or skin tones rather than being a separate thing like people have been asking.
Its just… underwhelming? Not a bad thing that they’re doing it and I’m really glad for it. I just see a company that could be doing a whole lot more for little effort who have a huge player base requesting this that and the other and they’re doing a scant few hair colors here and there and some other minor cosmetics.
The Draenei skintone was made back when the rest of the Draenei man’ari options were and just…wasn’t released until now.
Its again just really underwhelming compared to whats been requested and the state that many races (really all races imo) find themselves in.
I just wish Blizzard was more serious about character customizations and at the very least doing something for every race at the same time rather than piecemealing it out at this extremely slow pace.
Just my opinion though. I ain’t a dev. lol

Gotta say, I haven’t been back on the forums for that long but already getting sick and tired of the nonstop incessant whining and complaining about literally every single thing. It is so grating and so obnoxious to see all the time everywhere you go.
Even though it isn’t much every time, this expansion has been pretty good as far as customization goes.
Personally, I would love if instead of trickling out stuff like this, they did bigger drops with way more options for everyone.
My trolls will love the new hair colors. My Kul Tiran will cry silently because even though he looks fantastic, his options are severely limited.

Like it would be a lot easier to take if say every race were getting these (Or their own hair colors) hair colors at the same time.

Velf customizations are skin tones. The faces are split between the two different sets of skin tones. Hairstyles are about as many as other races. Same with facial hair. They have no tattoos, no jewelry, no different screens of options like other races, such as Nelfs, etc.
If people are using that nonsensical “here’s how many variations based off of the numbers in your dropdowns,” they need to re-evaluate that dumb thing. Because it doesn’t split up the faces, doesn’t take into account the real options that other races have in comparison, keeps using “you can have tentacles or not” as an excuse, multiple categories, etc. As a Belf, it’s similar for you, but you at least got some bad jewelry options. lol
But honestly… there’s only one thing I want for Belfs and Velfs right now: eyebrow options.
I think that’s the biggest thing that people are saying here.

Void Elves actually got different eye colors including some that are shared with us, followed by skintones and finally almost all of our hair colors until more recently when we got a few new ones so in my book they have plenty and thankfully from reading posts in different threads lots of people seem to agree that other races need attention long before they do again.
My vibe is give races that actually need it like I listed of Kul Tiran, Vulpera, Dark Iron Dwarves and Mechagnomes customization time, Void Elves have more than enough for awhile.

The ability to see some shoes instead of feet and ugly toenails would have me estatic for my troll-kin. Hair colors are meh.

They should of stuck with this in Shadowlands so that every new set that came for Trolls, Tauren, Draenei, Pandaren was actually shoes instead of well not.
It’s weird to me even now they only did it for a few there and that are locked to certain covenant sets.

But again, those still aren’t the types of customizations that people are talking about. It’s all the other stuff that people want: hair decorations, jewelry, tattoos for face, tattoos for body, scars, etc.
And I have no issues with that. Lots of other races need stuff. I’m not asking for more Belf/Helf/Velf specific stuff.
I want to see a boatload of stuff for all races and I want to see all races have those categories for all the different types of customizations. I want them all to have real customizations, not this trickle of “here’s one skintone you didn’t ask for and a few hair colors for one race.”

I said this in a lot of other threads and I’ll say it again here, if they wanted actual new stuff for Void Elves they should of asked for that instead of asking for our eye colors, our skintones and our hair colors so they could play pretend on the blue side because in turn they got exactly what they want but now complain about it and how they didn’t get new stuff like new stuff because they got our stuff.
I have no sympathy for anyone like that because they asked for it and got it and so as I said twice now I feel other races need customization time, ones that actually haven’t gotten any as well.

I read it and I didn’t address it because it doesn’t bother me like bother me with little by little, I am happy Blood Elves got a few new hair colors, I was happy when Draenei got the Man’ari customizations, I was happy when Humans got the few new hair colors, etc.
You might not be happy with that but I am because I feel everyone will get rotated in including races that sorely need new stuff.
