There I was spamming my best spell Greater pyroblast destroying everything around me when I get attacked by a rogue. I press my healing macro (/y NEED HEALS) but nothing happens. GET YOUR CRAP TOGETHER HEALERS NO EXCUSE.

Few things 
Do you use an addon like Details that can reveal how much healing you received? You may actually be getting healed, but due to other reasons (which I’ll outline below), you werent able to be healed.
On occasion Ive met DPS who subjectively believed that they received no healing and complained, when according to my Details addon, they’re the most healed player on the team and were trained in every team-fight.
Healers wont be able to heal if you’re out-of-range, or if they’re in CC. Most often it’s the latter, and often DPS wont even recognise this and impulsively rant without consideration.
On the flip-side, if you’re letting your Healers sit through CC that you could have prevented, then the problem doesn’t lie with the healer 
Your gear is relatively low compared to most others at present, and so you’ll flop much more quickly. If a healer is nearby and caught in a 5sec CC, your chances of living is considerably lower than someone who is at 460 ilvl or above.
Finally… our primary goal is to keep people alive… unless someone gives us reason not to heal them

This is more than likely the reason you didn’t get healed. If I were a healer, I’d probably not be too willing to help out someone yelling for heals.
So what does coming onto the forums and CAPSING AT HEALER PLAYERS over a random bg achieve?

When I first saw this thread I assumed it was just a joke based on the usage of caps, but I see many people took it seriously and now I don’t know.
My theory: tentacle faces cause people to look away so you weren’t healed based on being a male draenei (the worst gender/race combo in the entire game).
So there I was just putting heals into people and topping everyone around me when I get attacked by a gpie firemage spamming heal me in /yell.
I press heal button on everyone else and ignore the mage and laugh as the mage gets what it deserves.

I wouldn’t heal someone who “/y NEED HEALS” just on general principles.

I believe on ally it actually summons Anduin to you’re exact location and not only does he heal you, but he does a /cry emote as well

I know she’s WoD and WoD is old news but she’s tougher than Andy and, let’s face it, prettier. Until this thread I wasn’t aware pretty was a factor in heals but I looked it up on Wowhead and, sure enough: Pretty>Vers>Crit.
I haven’t simed it but just to be safe I put a bucket on my head.
