Get In and Get Going: Classic Hardcore

good then they can’t milk hardcore and will bring out fresh.

Its criminal how they milk sht instead of giving us what were asking for

You completely missed the point. The most efficient and guaranteed way to get to max level in hard core is take zero risk and carefully judge each pull to avoid death.

But where’s the fun in that?

That was my earlier point, that is boring. And given the time investment of building a character to max level, I find no fun in hard core permadeath either. So I have no interest at all in hardcore.

yeah, cuz retail is brainless and dumb :expressionless:

people are already doing dungeons and raiding in HC tho :expressionless:

If I had to play the “safe” way I would agree with you, it would be sleep inducing. The game is what you make of it. We can definitely make it harder on ourselves, take chances, go in caves, make risky pulls, don’t wait until over leveled to run dungeons etc.
That’s what makes games fun to me. And if I die… we go agane.
I get what you’re saying though, it’s not for everyone.
edit
Blizzard, please fill us in on the servers. How many will you launch and what are the names.
Thanks

Was this posted in retail forums first or something? Lot of retail hate going on.

More of the same old:
“If you dont enjoy the franchise like i do then youre wrong! insert rant

always a good choice :expressionless:

Please read what you wrote … and then you’ll understant the crazy answers you get.

Is this the epitome of nearly every product ever developed by man kind?

i think you’ll be surprised. the HC server will remain vibrant for quite awhile. and even when it “dies” it will still have more players than your typical dead era server :expressionless:

Can we hire some GMs to prevent the obvious flyhacking and the bots?

You can’t; max level is 60

i have good news for you. the maximum number of levels you can lose is 60 :expressionless:

I hazard a guess. Most players are taking a break from HC now so as not to burn out. We did the test realms, and there’s no idea in levelling up on normal realms.
And also we’re waiting for answers to our questions. While those Blue hype posts are quite cute, there’s no meat, no real news in them, so not much to discuss.
We are - or at least I am - waiting for:

  • Number and names of servers.
  • Which realms will be the target realms of the FCT after death - hopefully them all, as with the 10 character limit, at least I will soon run out of slots.
  • Time, not only a date, for launch.

Well time will tell, but I think that HC has been around for so long, that the pure hype - players have left. Of course a lot will try out the official HC servers, and die, and die, and die, and rage-quit, but some will stay, and some will return and some will play only now and then. As this is mostly a personal challenge - beat your own best - it does not matter if you take a break of two days or two weeks before you play on. Chances are your guildies are still there, on other toons maybe, but still the same players

These comments are crazy. Like, these folks have no idea how popular hc has become, and retained that polularity.

Many of the comments have already been proven wrong.

no one will die and die and die on the official HC servers. You have zero clue what you are talking about. With AH/Trading enabled and most griefing tactics disabled, you’ll be lucky to get the average death level below 50. In fact, very much unlike unofficial HC servers, most of the dying in official will be to duels and post 60 deaths. Make ZERO mistake - this will feel just like retail ezmode.

Which boulder have you been hiding under? Did you even play on the test realm?

Okay derpie bro.
