I was curious whether this was originally posted in the Retail forum, the way everyone was posting in such an indignant huff.

I can’t judge, I imagine our forum would do the same if Blizzard made a blue post advertising the latest DF patch.

It will. After a couple months the tourists will start to go. The average players who love to raid and parse will be next after failing in MC.
Once the server gets past these growing pains, I think it’ll be a fun place to play. Hopefully the players who love HC and stick around will be enough to populate a medium size server. Medium is jus fine with me.

Actually the best time will be launch. After a little time it’ll be overrun by bots. Gold buyers everywhere. Go to a starting zone and the level 1s will be decked out in all the best, enchanted gear they can use. With infinite consumables.

At that point is it even hardcore? No, it’ll just be pay2win.

Yeah. They could have “been inspired” by the add on’s small ui window that was game wide and you’d see mr/ms level 56 warrior die. Size the window to taste and move on.

F, quite a few them would be typed.

The addon could do “raid notice” message too but ideally you left that off. Its default is guild only.

And some nights in guild evne those death messsages got old fast. and that be like say 15 people in your guild. 250 people all night? I’d not be down for that.
