You find your server Discord, find a raiding guild that fits your schedule and personality, then play, have fun, and don’t over extend yourself.
look up your best in slot list, pug into a few normals and heroics and get 3/4 pieces and then look for a guild that raids at your preferred times.
I thought I was playing wow, not discord.
No, you’re playing a Massive Multiplayer Online RPG. That means you have to actually socialize.

Look up a BiS and how to play; it’s not rocket science. No BiS gear chart is absolute, getting close to the appropriate stat loads is the goal and getting close will be shockingly good. If you’re down a BiS item here and there don’t worry over it; playing well and being on time for raid and prepared and knowing the fights > Top parse every single time.

In 2004, you had to consult phpBB2 forums to get a guild. Today you have to use Discord.

During actual TBC, I was working about 60+ hours/week, and also taking about 4 hours/day of college classes, and only really pugged.
Similar hours for WotLK, but I joined a proper raid group. Just find one with raid days/time you can make.
